god... poore Lilly  she's so delicate! I think George makes her a little scary about her future and past. she's now very touch to us and everybody. All her friends want help her but they don't know how. this is sad. she need to open up and out her emotions. she need this! |

Now I realize that the part where Lilly seemed "distanced" from her cases, this last few eps, actually had a meaning. It was really the aftermath of the whole George thingy. And finally she's getting her head above the water again, starting to head in the right direction! Wonder whatever will happen when her mom shows up...

I haven't been able to focus on Lilly this season. I don't feel too much from her actually. But pointing these observations out is making me think. I'm still waiting to seeif the George thing did bother her. I guess it didn't. I just find it all so very odd. Not to address it at all.  |

It probably did bother her, but I think she just doesn't want to talk about it. But that is my opinion. I can't till Ellen Rush comes around....that will surely be interesting.

I think it bothered her so much, she CAN'T talk about it. After all, our dear Lilly isn't the most articulate person on this planet. I don't think she can pour out her feelings to save her life. What we got from her toward Stillman today was a mouthful! Enjoy it, guys, cuz I don't think we'll be getting too much openness from her anytime soon (unless, of course, the George thing is making her change--which could also be a possibility).
SONNY: regarding your post a few moments back, it was just so insightful I got nothing else to say. I agree!

DF, totally with you on that one! I never even thought we would be hearing as much from her heart as we did on sunday. My eyes were wiiiiide open and my jaw I'm sure was below the floor!

I love Lil in this season!
she's realy cute, nice, beautiful and... delicate! in 3x06 she show that she can shout on suspect ;D
she's realy great! better like in 3rd season!
but... she was REALY GREAT in first 6 eps from 1st season!

I think you are so right about Lilly not actually being able to talk about it. She has probably keep her feelings to herself her whole life. Remember what she said to Sean in Maternal instincts about being to damn proud to ask for help for way to long. That is kind of happening now I think. She gave Stillman a little insight but only a little, she wouldn't dare let anything else come out!! It's just gotta happen eventually though, it was like watching a ticking bomb, watching her on Sunday. I'm just waiting for it to explode!! :smile43: |

Me, too. She had some minor explosions this last Sunday. I think this season has something juicy in store for us... Lilly breakdown wise.
And, I insist--I won't think less of her if she does break down. Stuff like that happens to everyone.

I remember your "Lilly breakdown" posts from way back ... you're just waiting for it to happen. Trust me, I won't think less of her either if and when it happens. Lilly is only human and she has a very tough job. In addition, she doesn't have many "outlets," like exercise, friends, family, etc., so it can be reasonably expected that she may blow a fuse one of these days. It will make for good drama, as long as it is intelligently written and Lilly comes back as her old self. :smile50: |

you know... I want see Lilly, but not a cop. I want see her - a woman!
she's a workeholic, she need some time to herself because she realy can breakdown.
pur Lil need some rest and relax. and... of coz... she need a real man who make her happy and comfortable.
the best Lil was in 1x01 1x02 1x03 1x04 1x05 and 1x06. she was so funny!!!!
now she's a... amm... she has a broke heart. and she's in psycho pain
she need comfort.

oh ruda, sure i understand what you meant... she does have a lot of trouble dealing with the things happened and yes she definitely has to care more about herself, lilly-the woman- is too often surpresses, i remember with kite that was different but now he´s gone and she´s so lonely, george´s actions, his words made her lonely and except for working it out she just standy by being broken deep down inside pretending things were alright... okay she does show emotions but only to cases... she needs to change, she really needs to change and she needs friends, or for the best a great love interest!!!  |
