Good Night Everyone,
I just came from the general episode discussion thread-I could not post my reply regarding the poll about the season finale. I voted hated it (although I would of preferred a did not like episode option- hate is just to strong of a word to evaluate this episode). I found it to be very weak for a season finale episode.I even found my self to be disinterested at moments. I didn't expect a season finale such as in last year's finale-it is not in the show's style. The whole Lilly and Joseph connection-I found it to be just bizarre,and unrealistic. Maybe Lilly is going off the deep end-how can she be so attracted to someone she doesn't even know?-not to mention jeopardizing her job. Maybe that was what they wanted to leave us to ponder until fall-was it just that Lilly is so lonely,and maybe burnt out from work, that it would make her become reckless,and careless about her work? If I had to grade this episode it would get a C-. With the exception of the scene between Lilly and Stillman-there was no emotion,very little Vera=very little wit and humor, didn't feel or see any chemistry between Lilly and Joseph.Overall, left me feeling I can in fact wait until fall to see what has happened.

I have to agree with Cherzee. At first I thought maybe it was just
that I had a long day and wasn't really into it....but I really didn't
find myself into it.
For me, it was an ok episode, but it wasn't what I had in mind as a season finale...to me it lacked....chemistry.
And I'm not just saying chemistry between Lily and Joseph, but the whole story...the dialogue in most parts (with the exception of Stillman/Lily)...it just didn't flow.
And I'm not that much of a shipper, but I couldn't buy this lily/joseph connection. No offense, but I saw ZERO chemistry between the actors. I don't know, maybe we are supposed to find and feel this pairing and Lily's character a little off from now on.
Grade: C--
