A 2005 case - Joseph Shaw, 35, shot in the face in his own apt after he surprised one of the guys in his rehab community stab another one. Of course, suspect #1 is the guy with the knife. At the beginning of the episode, we see Lily and Scotty in the break room. She hands him a cup of coffee and he switches hands to grab it so she asks what's wrong with his hand, that it looks broken. He tells her that he jammed it up in a pick-up game. And then a very, VERY interesting scene in which Scotty shows up at Lilly's place asking her where she's been all day and saying that he covered for her. She says she's been working an angle on the case. Earlier, she makes a comment about her mother being up for the "Mother of the Year" award. I know! It seems like this season's gone by so fast!!!  I'm really scared of this finale for some reason. It feels almost pivotal for me. Like if I don't like it for whatever reason, next season I won't be watching. And that's kinda sad, really--I don't think I'd ever been this close to a show before (yah yah, I know it's pathetic, but I'd never joined a show discussion board before, and it's been SO much fun  ), and I don't wanna leave you guys, but the show's going ways that really don't interest me much. I'm afraid of what this finale will bring. I want it to increase my interest, not keep on squashing it. I'm hoping for the best... **crosses fingers** |

Wow, lots of details! Thanks a2z. DF, I know how you feel, I haven't been very happy with CC this season either. I don't feel that close to giving up, but I'm really hoping this finale won't disappoint me.  |

Like Tati, I know how you feel, Disasterfreak. I was kind of disappointed with the earlier part of the season. However, I feel like the show has been picking up again these last few episodes.

OMG!! So many negative people. Give the ep a chance guys, it hasn't aired yet. I know alot of people have been disappointed with this season and although it started bad for me I really feel it has got better and better. Watching the eps again on UK TV as they air has helped alot. there have been some really solid cases and I think it's been great finding out more info on the other guys. Tracie has been a good addition so far and personally [ducks flying fists], I'm not unhappy with the way they are taking Lilly. But hey that's just my opinion. When it comes down to it I'm not the one writing the show so I'm just gonna accept what they do because they are gonna do what they want with Lilly, no matter what I think she should be like. The only power I have as a viewer is to make my voice heard and that's exactly what I do. If I like or dislike what's going on then CBS get an e-mail from me! [Sorry a little ranty there I know, I just feel negativity is bringing me down  ] It would be a shame to loose anyone from the board, but if you feel that strongly then I understand your reasons. I wouldn't hang around if I wasn't enjoying it. I hope the finale can satisfy all our needs, just like The Woods did.  |

Gosh, doesn't it feel like we were JUST dealing with the whole "Josie chippy" thing? And here we are, getting spoilers for the finale. It sounds so good! I'm really anxious to see what's up with Lilly at home during work, and then this 'plot twist' sounds interesting.... can't wait! |

Hey, you can't help how you feel DF, and as I said a while back, don't ever feel you have to shut up, we are all intitled to our own opinions. True, yesterday I was feeling a bit down about all the negativity, but I was having a particularly bad day  However there is a good balance here of people with positive and negative outlooks on what being going on and going to happen. I do hope you won't be disappointed with any future eps this season and that after all the time you have invested in this place and the show that you will stick around.  Soccer, you've had other things pressing on you, as long as you catch up when you can that's what matters. And hey, if TVFan and myself have said what you think then I've guessed we've saved you some time ;D ;D  |

Wow there have been so many different opinions on this season which I can't believe is almost over.
I haven't been disappointed with this season. We have found out something new about almost all regulars, the show dealt (finally) with some of the Lilly/George issues, a new character has been introduced and we have had some great cases.
I am looking forward to seeing this episode whatever it brings (thanks for the details a2z). I tend to like it when they introduce a love interest or drama for Lilly as it is an excuse for the writers to occasionally show more personal details away from the cases and brings out a different Lilly to what we see while working on the cases.
It will be interesting to see the reason behind Lilly not being at PPD - will it be in relation to her mother, Ray (we already know he asked her to 'ditch' work to go for a ride in an earlier episode), or some other reason no-one except the writers have yet to think of!? The twist in act three sounds great!
I do hope everyone will enjoy the episode....I can't wait!!
