This just hit The Futon Critic (from CBS Press Release): Sunday, May 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) COLD CASE -- While investigating a 2005 cold case, Lilly (Kathryn Morris) gets strangely drawn to a victim, compromising the investigation and in the process it leads to a startling revelation (Season finale). The release details all of CBS' May sweeps stuff, but this is the only season finale reference. Sounds very interesting!

The 2005 date is a bit puzzling. I wonder how that will be addressed. I mean all of the detectives (except maybe Kat) were there when this one went unsolved. Additionally, the show was on the air when this case happened. I'm interested to see how that will work.
I couldn't agree more sonny. :smile41:

He tells her that he jammed it up in a pick-up game. What is a pick-up game? Eh, season finale... I remember my complains about how boring does the S3 start as if it was yesterday and now -- it's almost over. 3x23 seems to be an interesting episode, can't wait to see it, but that Scotty thing makes me wonder late at night... If there is no chance to have Kite back, maybe Scotty...? :> But no, I still belive we'll see DA again!

I'm not sure what a pick up game is. Sorry.
But I think we'll see what causes the injury to Scotty's hand at the end of episode 3.22.

Thanks for the welcome!
I've read the sides for episode 3.22 (I know these can be unreliable) and they have a scene which involves Scotty, which would definately explain the busted hand.
In the spoiler thread for 3.22 someone (sorry, forget their name) posted a spoiler about some Scotty drama in that episode. Scotty's action's in this episode will leave him with the busted hand.

I've been pretty good about not snooping this season but I just had to peek at the finale. I hope it's something of interest. Hmmm.....wait for the season finale'......Yip Yip!!!! Thanks for the info TV Fan. Also I was under the impression that pick-up was actually a card game. So maybe he hurt it somehow but says that to avoid having to explain what really happened. Just a thought =)

So maybe he hurt it somehow but says that to avoid having to explain what really happened. Just a thought =) That would make sense though cos the episode before this 'The River' where this incident apparently happens is about gambling. And likely card games in specific since the term 'the river' refers to the last community card drawn in Texes Hold'em.

I believe a "pick up game" is when a bunch of guys who don't necessarily know each other start playing a game of basketball in the street.

Ahhh that is more likely to explain a hand injury. My boyf has played cards for years and never sustained an injury to his hand. We'll soon find out anyhow. Thanks for that info TVFan.
