NEW SPOLIERS - LILLY'S MOTHER SHOWS UP IN THIS EPISODE
First off, vic is Violet Holley, 19, who died on December 25th, 1929. She was a songwriter from a small town who got a glimpse of the life of the rich and famous.
Now onto the good stuff: Beginning of the episode - Lilly enters a coffee shop and finds a woman sitting by herself, two cups of coffee in front of her. The woman is Ellen Rush. She tells Lilly that she's been sober for two years now and decided to celebrate by getting married so she's asking her daughter to come to the wedding. Lilly says no and Ellen asks her to at least have dinner with her and "Jackie".
Later that night at the restaurant/bar they've chosen for the wedding, Lilly is having a drink and Ellen joins her saying that Jackie will be late. Lilly asks her if she's heard from Chris but she hasn't, and neither has Lilly. Ellen states that she's a different person now and would like her daughters to giver her a chance. Lilly tells her that five years ago she would've said yes but she's too tired now. She'll come to the wedding but can't start over with her. She then grabs her drink and exits the restaurant.
A couple minutes later she's standing outside finishing her drink and staring at her open cell phone until she finally dials a number: Motorcycle guy. The answering machine picks up and she tells him that she'd like to have breakfast with him. His name is Ray. Ray suddenly picks up the phone but she quickly hangs up.

Oh yeah, read this information coming from Orison over on scr#1. Looks like we're going actually to meet Ellen Rush this season. Hope they don't change the script...

I have a question... :smile79: Do you think the production actually reads what the fans write on theboards and think about it? :smile85: Because since the beginnig of the season we've all been asking for more Lilly, more family stuff, a love life for our girl, and here it is....... :smile16: I like to think they do personnaly, but it is maybe quite naive...What's your opininon? anyway all the recent spoilers (mc guy, Lilly's mum) are very very good news!! :smile1:

OMG such detailed spoilers. **gasp**
Thanks, LII... though I'm beginning to wish I hadn't read it, now I know too much ROFL. Scratch MC man out and the episode would be perfect--no, wait, I promised Sonny I'd shut up about it. So I will. ;D

*claps* I can't wait to see Ellen Rush and MC man!!! yeah, I can imagine But those scenes might be "all" we get in this episode, Lilly meeting her mom and only a short cut to MC man (if they do it at all) - I mean, they sure still need some time for solving the case. Just saying we shouldn't get our expactations too high. What is puzzling me about Ellen Rush at the moment: Because of what Lilly said in the episodes 1x4 Churchgoing People and 1x9 Sherry Darlin we assumed that Ellen is quite sick - though what Lilly told Brian could have been a reference to her childhood and one of her little tricks to make people talk. Anyway, if this spoiler is right, Ellen is not so sick (anymore?), met even someone she wants to marry! Seems to be quite active, doing things on her own. So, had we been so wrong with our assumptions? Well, it wouldn't be the first time though that personal background story of a characters changes, remember the question about how old Stillman's daughter actually is. What do you guys think? They never really said much about Ellen Rush and we speculated, but how do things fit together now?
