*claps* I can't wait to see Ellen Rush and MC man!!! yeah, I can imagine But those scenes might be "all" we get in this episode, Lilly meeting her mom and only a short cut to MC man (if they do it at all) - I mean, they sure still need some time for solving the case. Just saying we shouldn't get our expactations too high. What is puzzling me about Ellen Rush at the moment: Because of what Lilly said in the episodes 1x4 Churchgoing People and 1x9 Sherry Darlin we assumed that Ellen is quite sick - though what Lilly told Brian could have been a reference to her childhood and one of her little tricks to make people talk. Anyway, if this spoiler is right, Ellen is not so sick (anymore?), met even someone she wants to marry! Seems to be quite active, doing things on her own. So, had we been so wrong with our assumptions? Well, it wouldn't be the first time though that personal background story of a characters changes, remember the question about how old Stillman's daughter actually is. What do you guys think? They never really said much about Ellen Rush and we speculated, but how do things fit together now? I guess some would class alcoholism as a sickness?? I think even if that is what we are gonna get it's still alot more personal Lilly stuff than in most eps so I shall be really happy. You are right that we might not see MC guy/Ray but I'm just imagining the ending montage - Lilly waiting in some diner and him walking in to meet her for breakfast and Lilly looking suprised cos she didn't think he would show up etc. etc....! {I'm getting all mushy again aren't I??] :smile56:

I guess some would class alcoholism as a sickness?? I certainly call alcoholism a sickness and do know what it does to people. Sure. I just had the impression we had been talking not only about Ellen Rush being an alcholic, more about severe effects alcoholism can have. And I think there was the idea, that Ellen Rush might be not able to take care of herself, after Lilly said something about she had to get medicament for her. Anyway. Just think we hadn't pictured her so far as a woman making plans to marry again. Well, I am looking forward to this episode because of Ellen Rush, less because of MC guy as you can guess. And I'm curious what the case plot will be.

Just think we hadn't pictured her so far as a woman making plans to marry again. I know! That kinda struck me as odd too. But as someone else said, they have a tendency to "manipulate" info according to their needs, like Stillman's daughter's age. I had got kinda the idea Ellen was a person who couldn't look after herself too--practically a hospice case. But there's really too little info in these spoilers to go on, and they almost always change something at the last minute anyway. So we'll just have to wait and see...

It could've been one of Lilly's manipulated truths (call them lies if you want) to evoke the truth.

You know... I was thinking. If Lil's mom has been clean for 2 years, technically she was either still drinking or in rehab during part of season 1. So that dialogue between Lilly and Vera (was it?) could very well have taken place during that time. The "pharmacy" run could've been for antabus or diazepam, both very common drugs when trying to break someone of the habit.

That could make sense - and I like it if every detail makes sense. ;D

Not sure.... but it was the same episode as the pharmacy run. The Runner was it? I'm honestly not sure.

Yes.... It's great that Ellen is going to show up in CC, but that they're not going to use someone famous..... Hmmmm???
P. S. Is that money per hour or day....?

I don't want anyone famous to play Ellen Rush... Maybe this is the way for that actress to be famous? :>

I guess I don't really care if the actress is famous or not. As long as she plays the role good, and looks something like KM, then I'm happy It really bugs me when they hire actors to play 'family members' and they don't look alike at all!

Yeah.. Well... Okay.... Famous or not doesn't matter.... But I would reeeeaaaally like to know which song they're going to use.... I just can't wait for this episode... And it bothers me that CBS/CC hasn't released the soundtrack for Best Friends & The Letter....

If she didn't look like Lilly at all maybe she would turned out not to be her real mother ;]
