Yeah, CSI's gone to the birds. Too dayum bad, it was such a good show. They haven't even started broadcasting season 8 around here, and you don't see ME suffering. I so don't give a hoot about all this Sara/Grissom nonsense--or its aftermath.

We've got the finale showing in the UK on Tuesday.
I know some people have said that the show has gone downhill a bit recently but I've enjoyed the last couple of episodes a lot.

I KNOW!!!! I don't see how this show could go on without Grissom....I definitely don't want Catherine in charge. Catherine has grown to be quite a b!tch these past seasons. Plus, THEY"VE JUST LOST SARA AND WARRICK!!! Although....Sara will come back as a recurring role I think o.O. |

Well, it doesn't surprise me that he's leaving, but it does surprise me that he's doing it in the middle of the season. And that they're continuing on without him. I mean, how do you have CSI without Grissom? And considering the cast is dropping like flies, I think it's time they all throw in the towel. They've had a nice long run, but considering how unimpressed some fans have been with the storylines as of late, maybe it's best for the show if it ended after this season.
I don't have a problem with Catherine taking over, in fact it sucked when her storyline got yanked 'cause of the writers strike last season, but CSI just isn't the same as it used to be, it's lost something. They should go out while they're on top.

I knew that Sara was gonna come back "to visit", but not to reprise her role (or however u spell that). It doesn't sound like to me that she will be back after Gris leaves either. This is SO terrible! Who is left now? Catherine and Nick. That's not a show! I have a feeling the end of CSI is near. Not good.  |

Who knows what may happen. But when there have been cast changes in other shows, I've given up. It just isn't the same show anymore. I haven't really watched CSI this last season anyway. Watched some episodes, but it just doesn't feel real anymore. So I'm not as sad as I should have been. For me, CSI ended with the season 6 finale.

I was one of these people who was a huge CSI nut. Bought the DVD's, the Books, the computer games, the soundtrack, the lot!
Then, after about season 4 I found myself buying the boxsets more out of obligation than enjoyment. I'd lost interest. Too many gimmicky cases. I begged for a serial killer who didn't do something ridiculous to make it 'unique'. I can understand the argument that they need to do things like that to continue to get people watching but in my case it turned me away.
With many of the main cast leaving now I honestly believe the show will die. I didn't like it when they took Greg out of the Lab, he's just irritated me since he's been in the field. I would suggest that to replace the leaving characters they brought in a 'Holly Gribbs' kind of newbie apprentice but technically they've already done that with Greg.
Just my opinion on a show with started off fantastic and IMO managed to go downhill from there.

Everyone was a "CSI" nut at some point in their lives  . They should just kill the show right now. The 9th season should be the final season. Just kill the show and spare it some dignity and pride that are still left from the old golden days. |

uggghh did anyone see the last episode when Grissom leaves?? Does anyone find the ending to be soooo corny?  GSR *rolls eyes* No more "CSI" for me now that Grissom has left. I've faithfully watched the show throughout the years to see William Petersen. He's such a great actor and I love him in his plays. I just wish he would come to NY and perform on Broadway instead of being in Chi-town(Chicago). |

I just finished watching the episode, because I couldn't wait for however long it'd take to air over here, and I thought the ending was awful. I mean, it was his last episode, that could've made it so so much better. This is Gil Grissom, after all. I hated the ending.

I hated the ending too...why must they introduce a love/shipping relationship to this show?? "CSI" definitely isn't this kind of show to be doing this whole "soap opera" thing!! Hated the ending, but loved the actor. I have the utmost respect for William Petersen. hehe...I haven't watched "CSI" since Morpheus(Laurence Fishborne's character in "The Matrix") came on |
