Btw, did anyone notice that there was a goof at the end of "Fannysmackin'"?
In the locker scene Sara takes her sun glasses off her shirt and puts them on her head, but when the camera goes back to her few secs later the sun glasses are back on her shirt again (...Oddly quick action from her...)

I watched 7.01. A couple of weeks ago, almost by mistake (I'm never sure when I'm watching new or old episodes because I've always kinda watched them "sprinkled"). Shamed to say I liked it. I know it was terrible, but I LOVE it when they show this kinda thing happening to the cast and make it realistic--not like they're superwomen or anything, just people dealing with this kind of terrible but extremely common $h*t. Marg Helgenberger (can't spell her name, sorry!) did a great job portraying the moment--the look of terror on her face broke my heart. She was strong, yet had her moment of breakdown--as I assume anyone would. Good acting, good episode. Terrible to watch, but the kind you remember--not like the other canon ones you forget. Personally, I thought the second part kinda messed it up though. They threw in so many distracting elements--the hit and run, Lindsey's kidnapping, the mobsters, her father's murder... it was too much. Took away from the plot (though I know the mobster thing WAS the plot). I would rather just have seen her dealing with the date rape thing... It's way enough angst for one episode and would have been much more powerful. Oh well. Just MO. Since this episode I'm watching CSI regularly again though. So that's one good thing that came out of it. EDIT: Eli, I didn't notice that. Anyway, Fannysmackin' was such a bloody disturbing episode. Those stupid kids... can't they find anything else to do?

. . . . . . . . . From the futon critic: Thursday, May 17 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) CSI -- The "miniature killer's" identity is revealed. As the CSI team tries to track down this diabolical murderer, Sara (Jorja Fox) mysteriously goes missing -- and Grissom (William Petersen) and Sara's relationship is suddenly forced out into the open.

I am unenthused . Anyway... guess I'll just wait and see how it pans out. But it sounds like quite a lot of badfic out there, lemme tell you. Ever since GSR became canon, fluff and Sara abductions are way too plentiful for my liking. ANYHOO since I enjoyed Grave Danger so much, I suppose I should give the writers a chance to make it right. PLEASE DON'T JUMP THE SHARK!

Oh, screw the writers!!! They shouldn't end the season with this kind of cliffhanger!!!! It's just simply cruel...

hmmm realized i never posted in this thread =). I love CSI!!! I'm a bigggg science freak and i think CSI is what got me hooked on these crime/mystery dramas these past years!! Normally I would never watch a who-dun-it type of show like Cold Case or Criminal Minds, but i kinda love how they got strong characters. CSI rox!!! I love the science aspect =).
ugghh GSR has been bugging me this season....i don't like GSR, but feel free to disagree =).

I don't disagree. GSR is spoiling CSI for me. It gets in the way of everything. Besides... I don't really see the "sweet" aspect of it. It's irking.

Exactly Disasterfreak!! I don't understand why CSI has to pull these stunts just to beat Grey's in the ratings....CSI is sooo much better than Grey's. Grey's went downhill fast after season 1...characters got soo whiny and shallow. CSI this season has been okay.....i love the first five seasons....it's going downhill slowly for me. I mean I was about to quit watching the show when they pulled that stunt by having K-Fed guest star on their show....uggh....good thing they saved their show with the minature killer plot. I love that plot ^^.

I love the underscore to that plot. It's so haunting. Too bad it had to end with the inevitable loved-one-gets-kidnapped thing... pfff. I haven't watched it yet, "Living Doll", (we're about 6 weeks behind) but I don't have high hopes for it.
GSR was such a lousy move. I still can't get over it. I loved Grissom's character the way it was--now he's just turned into a starry-eyed goofy version of himself. I'd rather have seen that look directed at Lady Heather (THAT interaction I liked)--if anyone. Because I honestly don't think he needs to be a relationship to be interesting. As for Sara, I like her character well enough, and I agree she deserved as part of her development to be with someone--but why Grissom??? It disturbs the dynamics and the essence of the whole show.
Blah.

Lol yeah they kinda screwed up....but i understand why they needed to do that because they don't know if Jorja Fox will come back or not because she wants a "pay-raise" again....-.- so that's why she still hasn't signed her contract. If anyone deserves a pay-raise, it should be Marg Helenberger. Her acting is just perfect....Jorja Fox kinda bothers me....i don't think her acting is good enough to deserve a "pay-raise".
On Lady Heather......I really loved that character's interaction with Grissom heh...and i loved how in one episode Catherine says "I would sp@nk you, but i think you would like it"...Freaking Hillarious XD.
On Grissom.....I miss the old Grissom =(. He doesn't quote William Shakespeare or some other famous writer anymore....kinda miss those "wise-saying" of his character, but i still love William Petersen. I hoped he wins an emmy for his role in CSI...i know he has been nominated several times, but hasn't won yet =(.

Yeah, Marg Helgenberger is pretty awesome. I like all the characters, but Catherine and Greg are probably my faves. I liked the old Greg better though, the one with spiky hair who acted like a nerdpunk. Now he's still fun but too serious for my liking. Marg should definitely get a raise though--I'm guessing she has? If she hasn't, it would be totally unfair. She's had some really outstanding moments in the past two or three seasons.

Yeah They all got a pay-raise last year.....and now Jorja Fox is asking for more for herself....pffft...she doesn't deserve it....her acting is mediocre...as far as i'm concern...they can just kill her character off....XD...i'm soo evil lol.

I don't want them to kill her off. First of all cause it's gonna make lots of fans disappear, the ratings will drop, and the show will die. Second of all, cause I sort of liked her character before they screwed it up with this idiot romance thing. Third of all, because it's gonna give the whole series a sickeningly bittersweet love-gone-wrong tragic air which does NOT suit it. That sort of mush belongs in Grey's, not CSI. And don't get me wrong--I don't dislike Grey's. They're just different types of shows, and that difference oughta be respected.

Wooot woot!!! I'm sooo happy about Season 8 of CSI!!! Kinda spoilerish so...(highlight if you want to see). It's about "Sara/Jorja Fox" and the GSR relationship.
Looks like Jorja Fox has only signed up for the first five episode of this season so far....(god knows the woman is soo greedy and she's not even that great of an actress in my opinion.).....the writers will be ending the GSR relationship(this is my happy news, never liked GSR and i'm sorry for those "GSR" fans.).

I´m a big fan of CSI, and I´m a GSR fan too. I´m lucky that we have great foruns in portuguese about the show, unhappyly we doesn´t have nothing about Cold Case.
And I desagree when people say that GSR is bad. The show has 45 minutes and the long GSR scene have 1 minute, is almost nothing!!!
OT: Again, sorry about my bad english.

Hey, Paulah. There's nothing wrong with your English--we could understand perfectly well!
It's not the amount of time they dedicate to GSR that bugs me. It's the fact that it exists AT ALL. That relationship just sort of... gives me the creeps, and adds a weird sort of tension to the show that doesn't make any sense. To me. But of course I understand that most people DO like it. Personally I prefer when things are hinted at but you never know for real if they're true or not.
Anyway, hope whatever they do with this storyline doesn't totally blow you off. It used to be a real good show and I still stand by it, even if I liked the first seasons best.
