"Contagious" will be re-airing on January 23, 11PM on USA. Whenever an episode first airs on NBC, they usually try to air it on USA 11-12 days after for people who missed it.
BTW, this is the 100th post in this thread! Woo-hoo!

My new VCR hates me already; it taped Judging Amy instead of SVU even though I'm 100% positive that I set the channel to NBC!!! I guess I'll just catch the rerun on USA.

We are all very happy for her, her victory is long overdue.

Thanks for reminding me TruBlu. I've been so busy lately, I keep forgetting stuff!
Anyway, I was very happy when she won. Her speech was fabulous, and she made me tear up a little when she mentioned her dad. It was hard to see her Dad and husband crying. Oh, and man did she look gorgeous! I LOVED her hair!

After all the years these Law and Order shows have been on, my hubby and I just began watching them and we LOVE them! It's exciting to us to watch them cause there are so many we haven't seen!
I thought Mariska looked gorgeous as well and seemed so genuine. Good for her for winning!

Yes, MrsB, i totally agree with you. I missed a lot of episodes from the 2-4 region, and some of 5, so every new ep that i catch on USA is very cool.
BTW, i also forgot to mention (seems my brain isnt working today) that I have a few articles about Mariska up on my message board.

A long overdue congrats to Mariska! *pout* I ran out to throw the trash and didn't even know her nomination was coming up. I found out later by watching ET and was THRILLED. She's a wonderful talent (and stunning! her hair!) and I'm glad that they finally saw that. Too bad that I didn't get to see her speech or her dad's & hubby's reactions. They all seem so genuine amidst the biz, no? YAY Mariska!!!! Now how about them giving Det. Benson a nice, stable shoulder (sorry, but not stabler's) to lean on once in awhile during the season?

Interesting episode last night. Everytime I thought it was done with the twists, they hit me with another one.
From the beginning I was suspicious of the twins. I thought they looked too identical to be boy/girl and thus fraternal (although the Olsen twins are fraternal and I can't tell them apart other than their hair color). It looked to me like it was the same actor playing both roles, but I wasn't sure. Then it hit me that Lindsey must be a boy. I was surprised at why, though. I figured the mother was sick and wanted a girl, so she found some shady doctor to perform the operation.
Dr. Creepy therapist was really out of line. I can't believe he was conducting a research experiment with children. Then, he didn't want Lindsey to know because it would hurt his experiment! All sorts of wrong.
An interesting episode, to say the least. Next week's looks intense. One killer obsessed with Olivia...

atrayuh2- if you would like to see Mariska's father's and husband's reactions (which were very touching) click on the link i provided abouve, the one that says "svu fanfction" in it, and it will take you to some clips, including a 10 second one of her on the red carpet, and a couple at the after party. and you are totally right on this one, Benson needs a stable shoulder, and not Stabler's! *coughCASEYcough* Last nights episode... Was stronger than some of the ones we had been getting, IMO. I knew from the get go that Lindsay was actually male, dont ask me how, but it was re-enforced by the pills and sex counselor. it may have been the DNA thing, since they knew that the DNA was male. Poor kid, living like that, knowing that something was off. The parents should have told him and given him the choice when he was older about what he wanted to do. i thought it was disturbing how the doctor felt that Lindsay was his own personal science experiment. just, strange. the doctor needed to get HIS head fixed. and in the end, it got bashed in.. poetic justice...

I liked the Olivia themed episode last night, but I felt that NBC pulled a CBS with the deceptive advertising. The ad said that one of the two killers was obsessed with Olivia Benson. Now, when CBS says this about any show on their network, I tend to let it go in one ear and out the other. But NBC seems to be less deceptive (although more dramatic - can we say ER ads?) with their promos, so I bought it hook, line, and sinker. I spent most of the episode looking for the killer "who's obsessed with Det. Benson," and it never materialized. The poor kid who took the blame for the child molester's murder simply wanted Olivia to help him. He had seen her in the paper and on the news saying how she doesn't rest until the perp is caught. NBC really stretched the obsessing/stalking card on this one. Oh well, it didn't take away from the ep, it just left me scratching my head. I thought the episode was good. It was an interesting look at how one man's actions trickle down. One man loses his father as a young boy, turns to a neighbor, who abuses his trust and molests him, then said boy grows up to molest hundreds of boys. One of these boys begins molesting little leaguers, one of whom he kills to keep his secret. Another little leaguer witnesses the tragedy and gets raped, but is too afraid to tell anyone. He grows up with the secret eating at him and becomes afraid to have children because he isn't sure what he's capable of doing to them. It reminded me of "The Plan" on CC with the staff sargeant in the hospital room confessing to Lilly. Overall, a strong episode, despite NBC pulling a CBS.

As much as i would have liked to see the stalker part of the episode be a little bigger, i guess they were toeing the line very carefully. They had an episode before where Olivia had a fully-baked stalker, so they may have been worried about repeating it.
It was a nice Olivia episode. Especially her conversation with Elliot at the end. It was the perfect way to end the episode.
I agree with you TVFan, it was interesting to see that chain of dominoes, how knocking over one just got the whole thing going.

Maybe it was just me, but I was so bored last night. First of all, I could not, for the life of me, keep all the characters straight. Half the time I thought they were talking about a different person, and they all looked alike and their names were alike. I still don't know if I'm really clear as to what happened.
Second, I've decided that I hate episodes without Stabler. It reminds of the X-Files when DD wasn't on it. You love it, but you still feel like there's something missing.
Third, screw NBC and their false advertising (as someone mentioned above)... he was hardly stalking her, well, he was, but not because he was like in love with her or anything, he just wanted her help. I also loved how Olivia had like no reaction to all the pictures of her... it's probably because she's so used to it by now... what was this, her 4th stalker episode?
Anyway, it was a pretty weird episode, although the part with the baseball caps was scary yet totally compelling. That guy was a good actor.

You're not the only one CC Fan. I had a horrendous time keeping the characters straight. Every time the detectives would talk about one of the many suspects, I wouldn't have a clue who they were talking about until they showed the person (even then I had some issues). Their names were too similar or something. Oh, and I also like it better when both Benson and Stabler are working the case together. I definitely had the "something's missing" feeling. Plus, the way they write them out for the episode is always too gimmicky and convenient. I forgot to mention this in my original post about this ep, but I was glad Olivia didn't really have a stalker. I'm tired of that storyline, and the only purpose it serves is to lure more viewers in. It's an overused gimmick on television and it angers me when these networks use it in their promo to get viewers b/c it cheapens the show. CBS has done this at least twice with Cold Case, and it annoyed me to no end then as well. It's also extremely sexist considering the fact that it's always the woman cop who's stalked. When shows use this gimmick, they totally dumb down the female cop and make her a mess. It goes against character, especially with Olivia and Lilly because they are usually very strong characters [note: having George from "Mind Hunters" return on CC and go after Lilly wouldn't bother me b/c I feel it would be a mind game and not the usual stuff]. So, even though I'm annoyed that NBC pulled a fast one, I'm glad SVU didn't use the same tired storyline of female cop stalked. Oh, and this, cracked me up CC Fan: Because it's so true! foujylos.notlong.com [/IMG]

I think everyone agreed on that part, the actor who played Biggs (sp?) was very interesting to watch.

Which one was Biggs Trublu? Was he the one in prison? I thought that actor was very creepy. He did an amazing job, though.
