I have a fascinating story to tell . My coach's daughter is in an eppy of L & O: SVU this tuesday at 10. It was a closed casting call, but my coach knew a talent agent who submitted her photo in. It was pretty exciting because once she got accepted in, we got invited on the set . The Green-Screen room was fantastic hehe, it was loaded with nice food and chefs around us were cooking. We also got to meet Chris and Mariska b/c she was in that one scene with them. She had to play a 6 month old girl(she's 9 btw). Chris and Mariska have stunt doubles!!!!! The doubles were in the courtroom with the behind-the-scenes guys setting up lighting. Then the real actors would come through the doors. The courtroom was freaking massive. Chris and Mariska were extremely nice. Let's just say it was good that my coach's hubby wasn't there.

if anyone knows where I can get a good torrent, or see footage or something else of the sort of the episode Night from season 6 it would be greatly appreciated.
I really only started watching SVU last year and only watched a couple of episodes before that so it looks like I missed the show at its best

I have to admit I'm slowly getting into this show.
There are reruns of it on practically all the time, and every so often I watch them. But there was a really good one the other day, where Casey was trying to get a corrupt judge off the bench, and it occurred to me I might be able to get into this show. We'll see.
The new episodes are coming back about the same time as all other shows, right?

I am just disappointed that SVU doesn't hold my attention the way it used to, but with the return of Stephanie March, I can relax into a show alot more. I do miss Diane Neal as ADA Casey Novak and certainly did not like Michaela McManus as ADA Kim Greylek. Something about her character didn't agree with me.

The writers didn't let us like her, unfortunately. I really wanted to, but with the lack of air time, explanation of anything about her (they promised us a character who was divorcing her husband, and it was never mentioned), and her overall demeanor, there's no way that people were going to like her. When they introduced Alex, everyone liked her. When they introduced Casey, it was a rough road, but she was sort of the new kid who everyone felt for, and thus most started to like her. When they introduced Kim... there was no reason to. I think it was a shame, given that I love Michaela McManus and I think she could have done great things with a more agreeable character.

I tried to like her, it was hard. Then Alex comes and I'm thinking 'Crap. You're back?' and waited for Casey to come and take her away. I hated Alex And loved Casey. Casey brought the tight amount of drama, and Alex just brought more then the needed.
