I love SVU. I'm a big big fan. I love Mariska & Chris. The season so far is great. The episodes are so good. I feel like El & Liv are so distant this season, but I love this show.

This has been an awesome season queequeg! I've really been enjoying the different character's stories. I do wish they would keep Olivia and Elliot working together more, but I understand the cost efficiency issue with shooting two seperate episodes at the same time.

I used to watch SVU, but I don't know what to do now :/ It is played late at night and I really need to sleep at night, coz if I don't, I will sleep on the lessons the next day :/ Eh, it's tonight. I believe it is about the second season. Hm... Besides, I love the SV unit :] Especialy Olivia - she's great, Eliott - coz he's Liv's partner and Fin with Munch. They are a little bit like Vera and Jeffries So funny!

Hey everyone! Did you know Mariska is one of the voice actors in the True Crime: New York City video game. Here are the details. Further bringing True Crime: New York City's authentic cop drama to life, Activision has signed on a cast of seasoned actors to lend their distinct voice talents to the game's main characters. The cast includes Christopher Walken as FBI field agent Gabriel Whitting; Laurence Fishburne as drug kingpin Isaiah "The King" Reed; Mariska Hargitay as New York Police Lieutenant Deena Dixon; Mickey Rourke as New York Police Detective Terrence Higgins; Esai Morales as New York Police Organized Crime Unit chief Victor Navarro; Traci Lords as madam Cassandra Hartz; and up and coming actor Avery Waddell as former gangster turned cop Marcus Reed, the game's main character and Isaiah Reed's son. "With a voice talent roster of this caliber, we are bringing drama to videogames on an unprecedented level that is on par with movies and television shows," said Will Kassoy, vice president of global brand management, Activision Publishing. "True Crime: New York City was developed with the help of two former New York cops who advised us on real-life police scenarios which were then brought to life through the rich characters portrayed by the voiceover talent." Former policemen Bill Clark, who also served as the executive producer of "NYPD Blue," and Tom Walker, author of "Ford Apache: The Bronx," consulted on the storyline for True Crime: New York City which puts players in the role of Marcus Reed, former gang member turned cop. Through the game, players use and abuse their authority to hunt down the murderer of Marcus' mentor while also cleaning up Manhattan neighborhoods from Harlem to Chinatown. Undercover investigations weave players through a murderous web of gangs and deceit as they battle crooks, Marcus' past and everything else the city throws at them.

No problem, TVFan.. I actually saw the making of the game on MTV this week. That's when I found out she was cast as a voiceover. I'm not too sure if anyone will pay 50 bucks just to hear her voice though... I just thought die hard SVU/Mariska fans would get a kick out of it.

It looks like it could be worth the $50. :smile21: Not just for Mariska, but because it looks like it could be an interesting game.

Yea it does look like a great game. True Crime: Streets of LA was a good game, so I would bet New York City will be too. It kinda reminds me of Grand Theft Auto. So trublu, do you play video games? I do, that is when I have spare time.

I just saw the episode with the school shooting and the Nazists. The ending left me with my mouth hanging open in shock! One of the best SVU episodes I've seen.

It looks like actress Connie Nielsen will be filling in for Mariska Hargitay when she goes on maternity leave later this season. Story HereAlso, according to today's Ask Ausiello at TVGuide.com, a shocking twist will explain Mariska's Det. Benson's absence from the show. [highlight below if you want to read the semi-spoiler] Question: Do you have scoop on the Law & Order: SVU episode that will feature Benson and Stabler bonding while on a stakeout? — Megan
Ausiello: Save the date: The episode, titled "Fault," is slated to air April 4. In it, something happens that's so huge, it'll not only pave the way for Mariska Hargitay's impending maternity leave, its aftershocks will be felt all the way through next season. "You're going to see things that you didn't expect," teases exec producer Neal Baer. "There's a very surprising turn of events." Might said events involve the two sexually repressed detectives giving each other mouth-to-mouth? "I couldn't tell you that," Baer hedges. "You'll have to watch. I will say it's unexpected — and you know I don't bull---- you." Hey, watch the language, mister! This is a family column. (OMG, they're so gonna shag, it's not even funny.)I'm interested to see just how shocking this thing is!

I have the game True Crime New York City. I finished it in a whole day. I never left my room. Mariska cursed a little but it was all good and her quotes were hilarious. I loved the game.

WARNING: POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR "FAULT"
OK, who watched it the other night? Olivia wants a new partner??!!! Are Olivia and Elliot getting too close in a total non-partner way? I was shocked at the developments the other night. I think Elliot was angry at himself because he realized that he has feelings for Olivia. When he was talking to Huang, it really seemed that way. And then when Olivia had to choose whether to shoot the guy and possibly kill Stabler...I don't know. There was just something about the way she reacted to the whole thing, especially the way she told him that she would have done the same thing (b/c Ellliot stopped to help her and the little boy got killed as a result). I can't wait to see where this is all leading.
