June 10th 1956
A Hispanic man Antonio waits outside the club while the music is playing inside. His smile widens as a girl Madison dressed in a poodle skirt; touches his hand. The doors open to reveal a people dancing, and having a good time. Later on, a single rose lies in between the hands of Madison who is now dead. Flash forward to an unknown man filing a box away: Fap, M.

Present Day.

Lilly looks up see Antonio standing there; for a quick second he appears like he in 1956.

“You solve cold ones” he asks

The blonde nods as Antonio pulls out a single red rose encase in a plastic bag” My girlfriend Madison Fap was found dead in 1956” before Scotty pulls out the note.

“Love is blind, my Madison- JM”.

“Whose JM” questioned Scotty?

Antonio looks at them confused” Two days later, my brother told me that she was dead”.


Shortly after Antonio had left, the squad got to work not knowing that this case was full of many surprising twists and turns.

i'm trying to stick more about the case then my usual L/S love

As Lilly’s eyes scanned the evidence she noticed something odd; reading that there was no autopsy performed. Flipping through, it became clear that her Aunt just want to bury her. To her that was disturbing but gave some hope that maybe the evidence to Madison’s killer was still there.

“It’s here that Antonio was often violent with her”

Scotty read” Put her in the hospital quite few times”.

The two then decided to go back and talk to him, but hoped this wasn’t just a case of love gone sour. Inside of his home, Antonio glanced down “Her Aunt hated me because I was Cuban, like you are” looking directly at Scotty.

Lilly rolled her eyes in disbelief “Then who hurt her”.

1956- Antonio is kissing Madison while the two stand by his car. Suddenly her uncle Sal comes running out” You are nothing”.
Madison doesn’t respond but spells something out in his hand.

“So why didn’t Madison look at him”.

Antonio sighs” She was blind, born that way. Her mother gave her up after finding out this”.

The two detectives glance over at each other, before Scotty turned around” What was she spelling out”.

“Afraid”.
Back at headquarters, Vera was waiting for them with some information.
Kat stood there as she and Lil rolled their eyes at him” Spill it already”.
“Turns out that Madison wasn’t given up for adoption, Jefferies and Scotty are with her right now”.

Inside of a small apartment, Rose sat there saddened” I didn’t give her up, my sister made me”.
Jefferies nodded “Did you know that Madison was blind”?
“Yes, but I made the mistake of letting her have Madison”.


When the two of them returned, Lilly found that Sal and Margo had been killed just a month before Madison’s death.
“So who killed her then” Vera asked.
Kat looked up” Medical records, Madison was kept in an isolation chamber for three months”.
“When was this?”
“1951”.
“Five years before she met Antonio but who’s JM then”?

Since I don't watch Bones, I won't. This story has a lot of twists, so you won't know who the killer is until the end

Lilly soon discovered that Madison had another boyfriend before Antonio but it didn’t match the initials found. That too was also a dead lead since he was killed just five years prior to her getting killed. Now back at square one, the squad wanted to know where the dances were that had taken place.

Back at Antonio house, both Scotty and Lilly looked at the pictures.
“How did you two meet” she asked curiously.
The older man smiled as the memory came up to him...

Antonio is standing by his car talking as several girls walk on by. He notices them but doesn’t say anything; until seeing someone pushing a girl to the ground. Leaving his friends, Antonio goes over and notices that she is having trouble getting up.

“Let me help you” he said but the girl pushes him back” Don’t I’m not stupid”.
He watches before noticing that she is relying on her hands t help guide her up. Antonio gently helps her off the ground” You need a ride home”.
“No I’m good” before she falls again. Sometime later he is on the road driving, but noticing that she doesn’t move her eyes.
“I’m Madison by the way”
Antonio smiles” Antonio “as she turns and spells something into his hand.
He looks up at her before the two of them kiss before Madison gets out.


“So it was just love at first sight”.
Antonio shrugs” I didn’t care that Madison was blind, she meant so much to me”.

” Where were these dances held”?

There was no words just an address, he had written down. The two detectives were skeptical but took it as another lead. Back at the bullpen, Vera found letters that Antonio wrote to Madison that were filled with stories of them being together. As romantic as it had sounded, it contained nothing that would suggest a murder.

Jefferies then came in” Got something turns out that JM isn’t a person but something Madison used a lot”.

“Which Is?”

“Just me” before Lilly soon discovered that it was written in her diary.

That's my birthday! The best day in the year!

So that's where DB stands for. I was already curious.
I shouldn't worry that much. I'll just stick with Josh Hutcherson and leave Johnny Messner yours

I forgot the name a bit, I knew it was something with Messner, and John or soemthing. So I googled to find his right name.
Turns out John Messner is some kind of pornoking or something.
I didn't even looked. Luckily I found out it was Johnny real quick ;D

Now the team had to figure out who had access to her diary, but that couldn’t be since Madison was blind. She didn’t know how to write but the handwriting experts said it was from a young woman. What made it stranger was the fact that she was killed by something lethal.

Lilly had discovered the pictures that were taken when her body was found. After getting Rose’s permission since both Margo and Sal were dead, Madison’s casket was exhumed. Since it would take awhile; Scotty decided to press Antonio harder for information.

“Did Madison have friends?”
Antonio sighed” I don’t know, she was acting strangely before she died”.
“Like how”.

Madison stands there feeling the breeze running through her long blonde hair.
“Hey what’s wrong?”
A tear falls out of her eye” You hate me because I am blind”
Antonio pulls her closer” No I don’t” but Madison runs off as a man grabs her.

Scotty finished writing everything down” Who was this man”?
“Her brother, guy I hated the most”.
After the interrogation, Kat hung up the phone” Madison was pregnant when she died”.

Lilly was shocked “How far along”

“Newly pregnant, says here the only person who knew about it was nurse at the mental hospital”.

Now sitting in Rebecca Bo’s home, Lilly took out a picture of Madison” Says here you worked as a nurse on that ward”.
Rebecca took the picture in her own hands” She was a good person, wasn’t crazy like everyone else thought”.

As Rebecca is preparing to do her rounds, she see’s Antonio entering the room; before taking Madison’s hand.

“Hey missed you” he said before signing something into her palm.
“I’m pregnant” Madison says softly. Somehow Antonio placed his hand on her stomach; before kissing her. The two then sit there as he holds her close” We’re walking along the shore together, feeling the warm sun touching our faces”. Madison gives a small smile but continues to listen as her hand drifts down to her stomach.
Antonio whispers something into her ear, before leaving the room passing Rebecca on the way out.


The present day Rebecca then sighed” The baby meant a lot to them, but her uncle wasn’t. In fact he wanted to send her to a home for unwed mothers; that never happened since he was killed that morning”.

Lilly scanned her brain before asked yet another question” Did Madison have any enemies”.

“Yes she did, a few that didn’t like the fact that her boyfriend was Cuban”. Then Rebecca became uneasy” I can’t give you any name, they’ll kill me”.

Now the case was warming up, with a new pool of suspects. Now all they had to do was find out who wrote the diary and compare it to the letter.

Nearby Kat was reading the stories but couldn’t find anything but found a small note.

“That can’t be, back in the 50’s there was no way to tell what the sex of the baby was”.
Lilly’s eyes widened” So maybe Madison had the baby, and gave it up”?

“Impossible Autopsy says that she was pregnant” Jefferies said.

Scotty looked up at his co-workers “The report had stated that there was no autopsy performed, someone’s covering it up”.

Lilly sighed before letting her hair down, everyone knew that this case wasn’t their typical ones.

Lilly still couldn’t figure out who had written the diaries but wondered why Rebecca was so scared to give her names. Was it because that Madison had gotten pregnant or was it she was dating a Hispanic man? Whatever the reason was, no one seemed to know anything.

Antonio was shocked when Scotty arrived once again at his home” Were you angry about her having a baby”?

The older man repeated something in Spanish that Scotty didn’t tolerate” Cut the crap, who else knew about the pregnancy”?

“You wouldn’t understand, that baby meant everything to Madison. Nobody ever loved her, and now she had someone she could love besides me”.

Scotty raised her eyebrows” You couldn’t be together; too many people didn’t like the fact it was a mixed race relationship”.

Antonio shook his head” No, but Madison loved me for who I was”.

A younger Antonio hears the voice of Madison yelling at someone.
“You can’t do this, I love him” she says
“Nobody wants you, get it. You think Antonio wants a blind wife; someone who can’t raise their baby”?
Madison is hit hard, as a male voice yells back” You are worthless”.

“Who was the voice” asked Scotty
“The doctor that ran that place, he was always trying to hurt her. In fact his son had dated Madison just years before we had met”.
“What Happened?”
Antonio sighed” If I told you, he’d kill me. Just like all the rest of them”.

Scotty was now intrigued wanting to know more about this. Meanwhile Lilly was reading more the diaries before a phone call sent chills up her spine.
“Lilly Rush isn’t it, you got a charming face just like Madison’s. Shame that your partner will have to be taught a lesson like Antonio had years ago”.

Bold are stuff I've modified for you. I don't really mind the "Shame that your partner will have to be taught a lesson like Antonio had years ago" because that's just dialect for a certain character.

Also, watching tv shows with captions can be very helpful to improving grammar and other stuff.

To me, grammar doesn't matter that much because I do it on purpose sometimes to fit a certain character's personality.

I write differently too, so my advices might not fit you. I write in a teleplay format, the ones that you see when you're reading sides.

Reading sides are also very helpful to make it seem more realistic to the actual tv show.

Can't wait to see what happens to Scotty, other than that... great update!

Next chapter is up

When the caller had hung up, Lilly turned to her partner as his eyes met up with hers. This case itself was difficult especially with the many lies and twists it had. Just two hours after being leaving headquarters; a woman approached Scotty.

” Everyone hated that Madison was pregnant, especially Antonio”.

Scotty tried to get a detailed description of her but it was hard, especially since she wore a hood over her head” Why thought he liked the idea of having a baby”?

“Not quite having his baby caused rifts between them”.
“In what way”?

The woman sighed” They’ll kill your partner, you need to stop investigating” then she was gone.

Scotty grew protective and headed over to Lilly’s apartment. Coincidently he had woken her out of a deep sleep.

She didn’t really look happy to see him at this moment” Someone approached me about this case”.

Letting out a yawn Lilly shook her head” Yeah about wanting us to stop looking”.

The two glanced into each other’s eyes” The voice said they’ll kill you” she said as Scotty seemed shocked.

Not knowing which one the people had wanted, he insisted that he stay the night just in case. By the next morning, Rebecca had been found dead in her home with no signs of any gunshots or stab wounds.

Now with this case heating up, Lilly was on her way to talk to Rose when she got word that she also had been found dead; again with no signs of anything that spoke Homicide. Moments later, Jefferies came in bearing some good news.

“Seems like Madison had given birth before she had died”.

Lilly looked stunned” How thought she was early in her pregnancy” before noticing it was her second pregnancy.

“Where did the baby go” she asked.

Now sitting in the basement of the mental hospital, Lilly sifted through files until discovering that part was missing in her records. Everything else was there except the fact that it showed that Madison have lived there since the age of nine months when her blindness was found out.

There also were no records of Rebecca ever working there. Now things started not to make any sense, but Lilly was determined to get down to the truth. Meanwhile Kat put down the phone before turning to her colleges.

When Jefferies heard of the news he was glad since there was another part of puzzle. Now both he and Vera canvassed more records trying to find out where in fact Madison’s baby was born. After searching the years 1955 and 56 both men were stumped hoping that this wasn’t another wild goose chase.

Now coming back empty handed, Lilly was there on her sixth cup of coffee. Though her eyes looked tired she wanted to solve this case. It wasn’t fair to Madison that her life had to end due to some crazed murderer. While glancing at the photo her blue eyes caught what it had appeared to be tape in the back of the photo.

Being careful she pulled it apart to discover that the background had been cut away. Meanwhile Kat came stood by her desk” Found the birth certificate” as she placed it onto the desk. Right away it said Baby girl but no name was listed for the mother or father.
“How do we know its Madison’s baby”?
Kat pointed to the place where it was born” Seems Rebecca delivered the baby, someone we know never worked there”.
Now with new leads to follow up, the squad wondered what really happened after the child was born. Meanwhile as Scotty was getting his mail Antonio cornered him” Drop this case Detective”.

“Why don’t you want Madison’s case to be solved”?

The older man looked down” I do but they’ll kill me, the truth was I loved Madison. We had a kind of love that was looked down in 1956”.

“She was blind and you weren’t “

Antonio shook her head” Stop looking for answers” before leaving his building. Then something started to brew as Scotty felt a wave of dizziness overpowering him .After making it into his apartment, his heart began to race faster than ever.

Now lying on the floor, Scotty felt the whole floor spinning. Luckily it didn’t take long for Lilly to find him as she placed her finger on the side of his neck.

“Hey you hear me” Lilly said using their secret code. He became breathless as she called for an ambulance. After the paramedics took him to the hospital, she alerted the crew. Now there Kat had just found out that there Rose was still alive.

This is a very hard case to understand. I've read it twice, just to remember the names again.
But it's a very nice case. Would be great if they'd make a real episode about it!

I was shocked when I heard those people were dead all of a sudden!

At the hospital Lilly sat down at Scotty’s bedside as he lay there while the doctor listened to his heart. His eyes stared into a sea of blue knowing now this case was only going to get deep with more twists and turns. In fact she knew it as well wanting to get back but her partner’s health was more important now.

Nor was it love but a deep friendship that prohibited any serious relationship to prevail. The doctor then looked up” You need to rest in order to get your heart rate down”.

Lilly then squeezed his hand before heading back to headquarters. Once there she immediately went through the case again this time focusing on the dance hall.

Meanwhile Kat was talking to Rose” Nice trick playing dead, thinking we fall for it”?
The older woman glanced at her but didn’t answer, letting Kat speak once again.

“When was the last time you had seen Madison”?

Rose glared at her” Three weeks before that mistake was born”.

This made Kat raise her eyebrows in question” What happened to the baby”, but then saw her entrance to leave.
If things were getting fishier it had especially about this subject. Then Lilly found something even more interesting” The diary is Rebecca’s, she wrote these entries”.

Vera nearly spit out his coffee” You sure Rush”?

Lilly nodded” Still doesn’t make her the doer”

Jefferies then came out of one of the rooms” Never guess who I just found”?

“Rebecca” the blonde said rolling her eyes” I got this one”.

Inside of the room Rebecca sat there as Lilly sat down across from here” Trying to fake us out, why is it about the baby”?

“What baby” Rebecca frowned before seeing a birth certificate placed in front of her.

Suddenly she got up and left all without a single word. Coming out Lilly was stumped to know why nobody even Antonio would talk about the baby.

Now pouring her forth cup of coffee she was beginning to hate this case. Even with Antonio had decided to honor them with his presence he too was still ruled out as a suspect. His alibi was still solid and wasn’t about to crumble anytime soon.

Inside of the room both Lilly and Stillman sat down facing him.

“Must be hard to fall in love with someone who’s blind”?

Antonio nodded” That never fell in our way, Madison was beautiful like you are detective. Even when she had gotten pregnant it never changed how I felt about her”

Stillman nodded” Were you there the day the baby was born” before Antonio began angry before leaving.

The door opened again” Boss, we found the daughter”.

Rush looked up” She’s alive”?

“No turn out the baby was stillborn”.

Both of them looked at each other puzzled. This still didn’t give an explanation as to why nobody was willing to talk about the birth or about how Madison had died.
