I was watching this never-ending NFL game, and the announcers just said that CC was being preempted tonight d/t to NFL overrun. They said tonight's episode would air next week. So annoying!!!

This is just great, I was really in the mood to see CC tonight. Is there a week that they can rebroadcast this during the week??

I'm really angry about this. I don't give a crap about Three Rivers and judging by the ratings, no one else does either? Will it be shown on the West Coast or is it canceled everywhere, including Canada?

I could also care les about " Three Rivers," just air Cold Case!!!!!!

About the West Coast; There does appear to be indication that Cold Case will air on the west coast. 60 Minutes just came on now (It's 6:17 pm here)
I'll wait and see, but it looks like at least over here the programs will be running as usual (just a few minutes later)

According to CBS it is cancelled tonight. I just posted the update on the Soul Thread in the Episode forum.
Revised start times for tonight's CBS programs: 60 Minutes (8:14pm ET), Amazing Race (9:14pm ET), Three Rivers (10:14pm ET) and (11:14pm ET) due to an NFL runover.
There was nothing mentioned by the tv announcers that it would be seen on the west coast. As a matter of fact they said it was taken from the schedule tonight and would be seen next week.

Ohh... if it airs on the West Coast... then I can download it.... or maybe it won't. They wouldn't want to create programing conflicts..where one coast is ahead of the other....

Two Three Rivers episodes? Wow, maybe they are trying to get CC canned. There's absolutely no reason why they can't show Cold Case. There's no reason why they need to show 2 episodes of 3 Rivers.
(And now I'm going to keep naming that show '3 Rivers Brewery')

Agreed, who even cares about that show anyhow. There should be two back to back new Cold Case episodes to make up for it. Why even renew CC if this is going to happen, I am so mad right now!!!

Me too!!! They better at least have a full season! As for next week, we deserve two Cold Case episodes to make up for it.

If this was going to happen, they should have announced it earlier on in the week. This is utterly stupid, forget " The Rivers", we fans just want CC!!!

I really don't get why they moved it to 10 other than the theory I mentioned already. That CC will be gone after this season and they are going to use the ratings as an excuse.

That is just not cool!!!!!
They are just so idiotic!!!!! I am going to see if it is on CTV tonight which means it will air in a hour so ill let everyone know if it aired! I will know as early as a half hour hopefully!!
CBS really needs to get thier act together cancel Three Rivers! Like doesn't it have worse ratings than Cold Case?!?!?!

Ugh....I just went to the CBS website and sent them an email stating that if Cold Case was pre-empted to get the schedule back on track due to the football overrun, I could understand it; but, if it is so that two episodes of Three Rivers can run, it doesn't help the schedule at all. I also commented about how the ratings for Three Rivers are worse despite being in a time slot that generally has better ratings all other things being equal, and how it does seem that they are trying to sabotage Cold Case. If anyone else wants to email them, just got to the CBS website and way at the bottom is a User Feedback link. It really is ridiculous how much they appear to want Three Rivers to succeed while they support Cold Case so poorly. Their focus on trying to have younger and hipper progarmming is going to come back to bite them. Like they can't recognize that there are already way too many medical dramas on tv, while Cold Case is original.

Vgnewsom, CBS has done it before. Murder,She Wrote was set up to fail because it was watched by mostly older viewers and apprently once you get to be 50 and older, you don't buy things anymore.

yeah, but if they are in fact showing two episodes of Three Rivers tonight, they are still giving it a chance, and seem to have more respect for it than they do for Cold Case, despite Cold Case having better ratings. I really don't see them cancelling Three Rivers anytime soon. They want to give it a chance. It is younger and hipper than Cold Case and that's all they are thinking about right now.

Very true vg.. They apprently think Alex O'Loughlin is going to bring in the viewers at some point.... which he won't. Of course, I could be misreading the scedule... they may simply go from Three Rivers to local news.

Actually there's only one episode of " Three Rivers", then there's the news. That's what's on the line-up here. I am so angry still, I hate this... Watch we'll be seeing the episode that's supposed to air next sunday instead of this one..
What a way to ruin this show, I wonder now what the actor/ actresses feel about this??
