Yeah that must be a goof. But not many people noticed it. I don't really like the new writters for this season.

This, I disagree with. While I would have loved for Scotty to have seen Alex, having Michael see him was good as well. Remember, Alex did try to save Michael, and it was in a way, because of him that Michael was transferred. So, Michael seeing Alex is NOT a case of the 'new writers showing the ghosts to the wrong people.'
Now, if Alex appeared to Lilly and Saccardo, then yeah, I'd be confused.
On another note, I'm starting to wonder just how much they watched those kids. Alex said, "Even a delinquent can use the internet!" You would think that they'd have filters, but evidently Alex was able to type in the word 'Jurisprudence' into the google search engine, and found the ski-lodge.
Unless the judge, and the others didn't think that Alex (or anyone else) would be that smart.

I think the judge and the others had gotten away with it for so long they got careless. Also, in the real life case this is based off, the two judges didn't get caught until the the Juvenile Law Center in Philadelphia filed a motion with the high court, basically asking them for rulings of juvenile offenders and how many didn't have attorneys and were found guilty. And how many were sent away. End result, much higher ratio than anywhere else in the state. It makes you ill how many kids were locked up so these two $#@ could get rich. How can we expect teens, troubled or otherwise to respect the law if those sworn to uphold it don't, and those who are supposed to stop them, don't do their jobs?

well I gave it good, just because plot of the murder was OK and 'side plot' was excellent My thoughts for all of the eps this season thus far. Miller - she's a junior detective in the squad, when Doherty said someone has to go I knew it's going to be her (not only because she wrote it on the blog, but because that's what Lieu in real life would do) Indeed. Much as we like Kat, being the newest detective in the squad (even if it's been almost four years now!) means she'd be the first to go if they had to make cuts. No Vera this week either (see below) so no one for her to roll her eyes at. Doherty - IAB (internal affairs) should do something about him, like check if he knewed about the judge, there should be an investigation about his involvment in the case; I just hope they (writers) will go in that direction I'm sure Doherty will get his eventually, but for now, I'm just enjoying this storyline as it progresses. In reality, sicking IAB on him seems highly unlikely without some solid evidence first. You can't just accuse a high-ranking officer of corruption with something big. And, as we saw in "Officer Down", Doherty has friends in Internal Affairs... I'm still holding out hope for a return of Doherty's boss, Councilman Boone (Stillman might dig up some dirt on Boone and use it to blackmail him into reigning in Doherty) For now though, just sit back and enjoy the wonderful evil-ness of Keith Szarabajka. Case itself was OK, as I said before; wasn't exciting with some twists; just a kid that got in trouble and the system wasn't perfect (I guess as a person that is involved with the system I know how screwed up it is,that rehab is not primary goal ) so the plot itself was too much of a real life and that's not the reason I wach TV for; This story was indeed "ripped from the headlines" of a recent Pennsylvania judicial scandal: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_for_cash_scandalLaw & Order: SVU also did a story based on this one a few months ago. Since I expected it, nothing really surprising, including the doer, espeically since he was easily the best-known of the guest cast and had been a doer in another Bruckheimer show (a CSI ep a few years back) Lilly and Eddie - great! perfectly written! I love Lil' in regular t-shirt; her casual-ness is so sexy Indeed, not since "Rampage" have we had the privledge. Reason enough to be glad for Lilly to have a boyfriend in her life. Vera- wasn't in the episode and I didn't notice it till I read it here in one of the posts (not that he's not needed in CC) but no one mentioned him and no character said anything so I guess I just didn't miss him in this particular episode Kind of like how the early first season episodes were clearly aired out of order, causing the "partnered with Lassing" episodes, the "partnered with no one" episodes, and the "partnered with Scotty" episodes to overlap. Since overtime was getting cut, Stillman might have insisted at least some of them clear out at 5 PM sharp. Yeah I agree and if people didn't know what the boot thing is for the car then your just so confused. I got a call from my friend in Canada after the episode she was like WHAT??? I don't get it. I spent 20 mins trying to explain it to her. But lets hope people can understand the posts we typed up and they get it a little better I'm Canadian and I got it. One last note: So "Moe" is short for "Maurice"?

I don't think it is. For one, the meanings are completely different. (Moe = love; God's helmet; savior) and (Maurice = Moor, dark) Plus, Moe isn't listed as a nickname for Maurice.

I watched without closed captioning so I might be mistaken...but I thought Lilly said 'Morris Kitchener', not 'Maurice Kitchener' I checked today and Moe is listed as a diminutive form for Morris. About Keith Szarabajka....can someone try to write how his last name is pronounced in english, please I'm Polish so I naturally pronounce it as it would be in Polish, but I'm interested how english speakers say his last name.

I really liked this one. Since I work in the Juvenile Justice system, it was good to see a case based off of it. Although I hope stuff like this doesn't happen in my state, but you just never know.
I was glad to see it was Eddie sending her those pictures, I was thinking this whole time it was Moe. Glad to see he is still looking out for her.

According to IMDb, it's pronounced "the one who's name we shall not say-bike-ah". "Angel" fans will remember him as the ruthless vampire hunter Holtz. He also had a decent sized role in "The Dark Knight" as a detective under Gordon's command and even had a scene with the late Heath Ledger. And I watched the scene again, Lilly definately said MAURICE Kitchener.

No, check my thread, 'Name Meanings' in the General Forum. As it turns out, Moe IS a short form for 'Maurice'.

D'oh... I guess I thought maybe it had slipped by the powers that be... it did in the episode of Pin Up Girl.

2 questions (cause I am sooooo lost) 1.How did Alex die (they said he hi his head, but was it the gag?) 3.Why was the Judge arrested (again, I was lost) The head of the place found out what Alex was doing and tried to reason but Alex was going to expose both him and the judge. So the head of the place got made, he hit on the back of the head, then suffocated him; which killed him. The judge was arrested because , he failed to do his job correctly and had withheld information as well; which also tied him to alex's killer as well. The Pen with the name" Jurisprudence", sealed his fate.

Plus, the judge was taking kickbacks... As for the $#@ deputy com, he'll get his. You can only hang around pigs for so long before some of the mud gets on you.

I also noticed something when Lilly went to call someone to have the number traced she said: Agent Rush. That was odd to me.

Well, having read the entire thread, I can see I am in the severe minority. I was 100% find with Miller having to leave. I have never really been a fan of hers and always wished we'd gotten someone else. I'm just not a fan. So, I didn't see a loss there. But I know many of you were upset by it. I thought it was a crappy thing for Doherty to do, but I wasn't upset about it.
No Vera. That always makes me so sad. *pout*
Loved the storyline. Because it was awesome to see a kid standing up to the system that way. He was such a smart kid. Imagine what he could've done if he hadn't been murdered.
This, as most of you have said, was definitely the best episode of the season so far.
