This was very good as I loved the parts with Vera and the husband outside. It was just so funny when he's bored then when Lilly walks out, he's helping the husband.
I liked that Stillman held Scotty back but Scotty needs to realize that he's gotta quit doing that.
I didn't think it was Jakob who killed her till the end but I can't imagine being in a different part of a culture that is different.

This is one of those episodes that had everything good in it. Humor, character development and sadness all rolled into one. One of the things Cold Case was good at was fleshing out not only the victim's character but often the killer's as well. It was done really well here and makes Jakob one of my top sympathetic killers. Jakob was addicted to drugs and had no support system to help him, no idea how to stop. The only thing he had was the hope that he could go home and everything would be ok. Anna was that hope for him and when it was shattered, I believe he snapped. Knowing the Amish culture, he will be forgiven, but if he can ever forgive himself, that's a different question. Another case that while the book should be thrown at the killer, it can be a light paperback instead of a heavy dictionary. As for Scotty, this is another episode that show a warning of things to come in Season 7. There is no way he should have stayed in that room after what he did. He did redeem himself at the end with Jakob but still, his anger issues were obvious in this one.

I <3'ed this episode way too much. First of all, I loved the opening which had "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield in it. More than ever, I felt like the music in this episode was chosen so good. It fitted the siutation of this young Amish girl who wanted to get away of the habits of the Amish culture so much. I love how we got to see Philladelphia in a different aspect. Anna was amazed by the beauty of Philly. I feel like she was a good girl during the entire episode. She was brave enough to decide that she didn't want to return to the amish country but still, she was a good girl and she didn't harm anyone. I absolutely ADORED "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson in the end of the episode. The lyrics were just made for this storyline. I LOVED IT!
