I share the point of view of Koufax on this episode. I saw again yesterday evening the ep 8 and 9 of the season 1 and this morning this episode. And we find to a certain extent, Lilly. She is sarcastic, cynical, "roguish". She seems (how say) as "released" (just my impression). This way these confrontations with Geraldine was a model of the genre (Geraldine character who seems of another century, but very interesting because how much men and even regrettably of women still think as her today!). I also liked a lot the subtle parallele between Amy and Lilly. But regrettably if I found excellent Danny Pinno, I was not moved by the outcome of its story with Elisa, I do not know why. To note once more the symbolic presence of water in this episode from the first image, the water the life, the water the death (the poisoned bottle), the water on which she makes of the oar and gets fresh ideas (sort of purification), and finally the water of the river where Scotty throws Elisa's letters. A lot of symbol around the water I found.

This episode was kinda meh, but I absolutely loved the music! They did a really good job with the soundtrack.

When Coleman used the golf club on the car, I thought there was a chance he did it but didn't think Scott was a part of it.
Loved Vera's face when he sat next to the cat as he is interviewing with Jefferies.
I didn't think of the Lilly/Scotty and Amy/Scott situation being almost the same.
