"im not likeing scotty his season he seems to be trying to get into "Josie chippy"s pants or something, he is becomming slezzy, he should od learnt from christina and not get involved again."
I agree with this, it seems like he is acting kind of weird, and I think "Josie chippy" is trying not to hurt her reputation and trying to ignore him. I'd like to see Scotty with someone more down tp earth, and "Josie chippy" so far (with what we know) seems sleazy and that's not what Scotty needs right now.
I liked the episode, it was pretty realistic, and I liked the fact that when they were questioning the dead girl's friend, the other girl was just kind of there and it didn't seem like they would be guilty of anything.
Good ep...but I think the next one will be better and hopefully more scary!

I didn't have time to read all the posts, so sorry if I repeat what others have said (probably will, I can't be that original, LOL). This episode was ok. Not one of my faves, but still fun. Veena Sud has done better. It gave me sort of the same feeling as the premiere--too much going on, too many different "issues", none of them developed as they should have been. It's like a potpourri of lots of different heartwrenching elements--the overweight girl, her mother's death, her father alone, her one friend gone bad, the party, the councilman, the other girl's rape, the fire... dunno. It was TOO much. Made it a bit hard to follow and not too believable. But that's just my opinion, obviously I respect anyone who says different. :smile43: Sometimes it seems like they're grabbing desperately at a way to twist our feelings and grasp our attention, and it bothers me a little. Regarding Scotty. I didn't find him as annoying as I'd expected from other people's comments. He was cocky, true, but not insufferable (not yet anyway). His attitude regarding "Josie chippy" is weird. He really does seem to be wanting to get into her pants, or suck up, not sure. He's still doing a really bad job at it though, asking her about her sergeant and all (did he really think that would make her "open up" to him? : . I'm glad "Josie chippy" was having none of it. I don't know what they'll make of him this coming season, but he seems to be going places where he's gonna get some hard knocks... About "Josie chippy". I still like her. She had lots of screentime, but not nearly enough to make me resent her. Her character's interesting, I agree the "powerful men" comment seemed to indicate she'd been mistreated by one. Her sergeant was no angel, was he. And, unlike the the one who's name we shall not say fans, I really do like her ponytail! It's cute, "I dream of Jeannie"-like, and much longer than I'd expected her hair to be. About Lilly. I agree with everyone who's said she looked much better in this ep. Not sure if exactly glowing, but quite her own self again. And no, she does not look the least bit pregnant :smile41: . Some remarked they'd really liked her short-sleeved shirt/vest ensemble thing. I have mixed feelings about it. Cute, but not very professional. Overall, if I'd seen it at home I would've liked it more. In the work place it looked a little ridiculous (sorry, Sonny--feel free to send me hate mail, I'll "take it like a man" ). What else? Yeah, the councilman was an idiot, and those fratboys were unbearable. Burn them all down, I say. :smile30: I really liked Laurie, but I didn't sympathize with her friends so much. She was the only character I really clicked with. Well, and her Dad and Dirk. Dirk acted like an idiot, but he came around. And no one must be sorrier about what happened than him. Sorry about the long post. I don't have time to post anywhere else so I had to do the best I could in this one thread. Thanks for putting up with it! :smile17:

[/quote] I did really like the shirt and waistcoat, she looked so great in it. But then then i kinda liked the 'red dress' so it's me that's a freaky one!!! I won't send ya hate mail, but if you........ [ j/k:P]. I'm not sure if Scotty is trying to get into "Josie chippy"'s pants as you put it, I think he's trying to get the gossip on her and spread it round hoping that she's done the same kinda thing as him so he won't feel so bad. That's not saying that Scotty would say no to her if she was up for it cos he probably would!! Bas***d!!!! I totally agree with what you say about the case too, and the one from last week. It's like they are trying to cram too much in and it kinda blurs the actual homicide that's happened for me anyway. That's what I've always liked about Cold Case, is that the cases are believable and the last two haven't seemed that because too much seems to have happened surrounding the events. Oh well that's just my opinion. I am hoping for better next week and beyond though, ohh, and a lot more of our Lilly of course, personally and professionally!!! I wanna see her let rip at some suspect like she has done before, she great when she does that!!!

also i think that there is some secret with "Josie chippy" she seemed to symphyse with the girl that got raped, maybe that whats happed with her old boss she seems to dissmiss what happened with her boss when ever anybody ask's her, really like her now to be honest i didnt really like her to start off with i was a bit defenise because im a Major Lilly fan but she is starting to grow on me now :-) I'm glad you and others are starting to like "Josie chippy"/the one who's name we shall not say. I definitely want her to stick around on Cold Case, and viewer opinion/support is so important.

I found this episode to be extremely sad. Perhaps my sensitive nature gets the better of me but I felt sorry for Laurie. And the killer was downright evil. Manny deserves no sympathy reserved for numerous Cold Case killers. Laurie ranks right up there with Rita Baxter in "The Sleepover" as one of Cold Case victims who deserved it least. Nobody deserves to die. But episodes like "The Plan" and "Greed" make you wonder sometimes.

hmm...I liked this episode but there wasn't enough lilly. I haven't really formed an opinion of "Josie chippy" yet, but as long as she doesn't take over lillys spot, i'm happy for her to be part of the team.

Finally saw this one, and it was good, but most certainly not great. I don't like the cast changes and direction changes they have had this year. Everything seems kind of off to me. I hope it gets fixed and that they cut Scotty and "Josie chippy", especially "Josie chippy", way back. Lilly is why I am a fan. I like Scotty, but not as the veritable lead. I haven't taken to "Josie chippy" at all, ok yeah I am thisclose to hating her, and I am not keen on not loving everything about this show. I dont like Cold Case not being my favorite show.

No, I think this is the normal scheduled time for every week, it's just that the NFL games usually run late and push everything up...Now that the playoffs are ending you should probably expect CC to start on time every week...

I watched it again and they still didn't fix the wrong date at the beginning! It still said "October 23, 2003." I would think that they'd correct it the 2nd time around.
