Up to 6x15, "The brush man" had been the most watched ep this season... More than any other 13.3 million how was this one?

When Monster said that Lilly probaby wouldn't see that person again; meaning Saccardo the look in her eyes appeared to be one of sadness. You can still tell that she still loves him.

Just a brief one, nothing too signficant with Lilly. I think she outgrew him, her heart still yearns for Saccardo. You can clearly tell that one.

I voted Excellent, then my internet connection died for the whole afternoon.
I really liked this episode, in particular musics and the great job of the actors (and motorbikes ;D)
Then, I loved some little things like the mentions of Ray and Saccardo, Lilly broking the tail light (I rewatched that scene many times), the misterious girl looking for Jeffries...
Very good!

If I have the time I'll rewatch it... I mean, I am the only one who did not like it

If I have the time I'll rewatch it... I mean, I am the only one who did not like it Don't feel bad about it, Eduardo, it happens. Sometimes I liked episodes nearly no one else liked and didn't like others most find great. I'm not sure yet, what this episode will be for me. Okay or good or maybe even excellent, but have to watch it again when I will be less distracted by other things on my mind. I was very curious about the case, but tried to keep my expectations low. I could connect to some parts of the story just by reading the short description, but didn't want to read too much into it before watching the episode. So far think, the story was well composed, you could pretty much guess from the start, who the murderer was, still other possibilities could have made sense too. Just couldn't quite connect with the one who's name we shall not say, dunno, maybe it was that they actually focused more on the gang and their group dynamics in a way than on the victim and what she actually did there. Instantely knew that Darren had let her down and knew all about her murder, the guilt was written all over his face and posture. And well, naming someone Monster is quite likely a way to tell, he is not the monster. Good cast, good acting, some nice little moment.

myril said something important: The victim. For some reason I just could not feel connected to her... and that's very important for me in a case...She was just simple, plane. They focused so much on gangs

I saw this while I was in NYC this weekend. I loved the episode. Even though it was obvious who/what/why killed the one who's name we shall not say..I loved the anticipation of the story. It was one bad decision after another trying to get out of the bad move made before that only resulted her in a deeper hole and eventually dead.
The whole situation is so tragic with the stupidity of her dad that resulted a teenaged girl making messed up decisions and couldn't get out of it. Taking the money when "escaping" from Monster (or let her go) was a death certificate and especially being with a boy who is the son of a notorious member. It's all these predictable string of events that made it watchable for me.
The music and the flashback scenes were remarkable. The production behind Cold Case seems to do well with the 70's and early 80's. The guest cast were remarkable. I didnt get chills in the ending since Lover's Lane. It was a disturbing scene even though it was not shown if you get my meaning.
I rate this excellent.

I had some difficulty keeping Shameless and Monster straight. the one who's name we shall not say wasn't compelling to me. I don't know it just didn't work for me that she lost her dad and drifted to the Jackal gang. It was odd. All in all I thought the episode was Good. I enjoyed Lilly's season two shirt. The one she wore when interrogating George. That whole Vera/Jeffries living arrangement is "odd". Why would a grown detective not be able to afford himself an apartment or something. I enjoyed the Bad Company - Bad Company! Some good ole biker music for sure.

I personally think Vera whining about his living arrangments is pretty funny, or that could just be a throw in to the sign of the terrible times. Perhaps Vera can't afford an apartment??

To me this episode felt like a Cold Case, not the usual boring cheesecake episodes we've been having lately. This one was quite compelling, I felt for the one who's name we shall not say but wished that Darren could have done something to stop them. He loved her. Aside from that I was glad to see some more interraction between the squad.
Something also grabbed at me, about how Lilly did hang around with a biker ( Ray), using that tire thing showed that even she had some bad girl qualities to her.

I knew she was going to pop Libby's taillight, that's the oldest cop trick in the book. If a cop needs a reason to pull you over or bring you in, they'll find a way.
I think what I liked most about the one who's name we shall not say was the fact that she exuded a quality I think all teenagers, especially girls, exude right about the same time. Neediness. We need to feel wanted by someone, be it family or friends or a boyfriend. Even more, we need to feel like we belong somewhere, to someone or some group of people. Granted my teen years were about a decade ago, but I still remember them well. the one who's name we shall not say had no one, she had nothing. She wanted a family, she wanted to feel like she belonged somewhere, around a group of people who didn't care that her dad was a felon. Of course The Jackals didn't care her father was a white-collar crook.....they were into far worse stuff themselves.
It's that neediness that sometimes sends people down the wrong path, much like it did with the one who's name we shall not say. I think the writers and the actress who played her did a very good job of presenting that vulnerability and false bravado. And again, the music was great. You can't go wrong with Heart and Bad Company, now can you?

As to your post earlier about Vera's living arrangements, I don't get that either. That plot just seems "forced" to inject some comic relief to a tense drama. If Vera could afford a residence hall as he did in "Superstar" when he moved out, I dont know why this situation is any different. Cops particularly detectives cannot be making below living wages. Weird
