I don't think so, she was just trying to get Keith to talk. Yes, Maybe but I will research later to check if it's something related to police

I'm pretty sure that "The Long Blue Line" is related to the military and the police force. After all, one of the characters does say "you don't have what it takes to walk the long blue line" (or something close to that effect)
As for the Mentalist...All of the episodes have the word 'red' in the title.

I'm still thinking about the water, could symbolize change within herself that's to come. I re-watched this episode, perhaps Lilly sensed that she was in danger while driving on that bridge

Not all episodes of TM have "red" in the title... Most of them do Example: Crimson casanova Scarlett Fever Bloodshot Carnelian Inc Russet Potatoes Episodes 2-13 have red episodes 14-18 do The following episodes recovered the "red issue"

This thread isn't about the Mentalist, but I gave this episode an Excellent, not only was the plot great the music was as well. This was much better than " Stalker" for me..

I don't know why but I didn't like the music. It wasn't bad but it's that I don't like that style

I thought Pearl Jam's Music went beautifully with the storyline, it blended well. I liked how everything was put together, but it felt like a normal CC episode to me. For once I actually liked the storyline.

Great episode!! Nice music! It was strong and interesting even if at the first half it was a bit slow. Obviously because it is a two-parter the plot is revealed more slowly. Great information for Lil's past in this conversation with Scotty. Ugh! Her partner back then, what he did to her! (He's the fat guy we saw in "Saving Patrick Bubley", eh??) I liked her facing the old military guy in Stillman's office. Go Lil you are the best!! She read her father's letter crying? Oh everything is going to light up, I hope. Very nice the Kat and ADA Bell "thing". He is really good for her and it's good to have a new storyline for the next (hopefully) season which isn't about Scotty or Lil. And... Scotty did the cleverest thing for this year!! It seemed that we got rid of Frankie for good, finally and fortunately!! As for the ending part I didn't expect it! I thought that Lil would crash or something, but not that the car would fall in the river!!!! Oh my God, poor Lilly!! (This with the water and the car in the water hasn't only something to do with the "Mindhunters" but also with the "Hostage", the BMW commercial with KM.) Scotty, for another time, had something to do with the phone, like every time when something bad happens to Lil...!! This with the phone may have something to do with the next episode. The cell was out of Lil's hand just in time and it seemed that it had nothing to do with the loss of the control of the car only with not paying attention to the jeep approaching dangerously but maybe it wasn't just for that. Maybe Scotty did pick up and heard what happened. Anyway, we'll see. As for the killer, I have the idea that there isn't just ONE killer. All the guys with the rings are suspicious. If noticed correctly only some had these rings, not all the students or the graduates of the PMI. Someone was following Lil and crashed her car when he found the moment. Maybe, also, some of the guys told some little parts of the truth only to hide something bigger... Maybe even the father has some thoughts about them and that's why he left the ring behind him, to the detectives. Some kind of "Guardians", a "fraternity"?? My imagination overworks sometimes, ;D, but I can't wait for part 2! (Thinking also that I'll achieve to watch it on next Wednesday and not sooner...!! )

These contain spoilers, but this should be in the spoiler section. Back on topic here, I wonder if Lilly screamed when she went over the bridge. Must have been scary for her.

I imagine she might have been too much in shock to scream or, she did one of those open mouth no sound coming out screams.

Lilly did look scared, but before while reading the letter for a split second I thought that she was going to just break down and cry

No spoilers I knew it was gonna happen Pretty much everyone else knew as well someone rearing Lilly's car into the river, the music sometimes gives you hints as well as the characters facial expressions.

I was watching one of the clips on imbd and noticed something about the letter concerning the Garden of Eden. One part reads "and I am the sword" make of that what you will

I think Lilly sensed that she was in danger, if you look at the scene carefully while she is driving. There's a moment of panic and fear in her eyes.
