OK. OK Maybe I exxagerated a bit . I still can't forget what he said to the witness in "A Time to hate"
It was something like: If you were bashed for dressing like a woman. Why you continued doing so? with a tone of laugh and comedy like "Can't you hide what you are" and then Lilly looks at him like "so dumb"

What LII2 said. This was one of the first season episodes. Let's not forget that in "The Hitchhiker" Scotty convinced that one guy he was going to "disappear". When Lilly, or Stillman told him the implication that the guy got, Scotty more or less shrugged it off; then said he did a good job.
You can't really judge a character now by the mistakes of their past, especially if they show signs that they're learning from them.

I'll admit when Scotty first came on the scene I didn't like him at all, but in this last season he has kinda grew on me, but there as some aspects of his character I don't like. I don't necessarily want to see him gone, just for him to grow up a little more like in this past season.

I think a great ending would be Lilly and Scotty kissing

anyway, I think the should would have been better with the other guy (Justin Chambers) I disagree, but remember Lassing has to leave he needed all day work because of his diabetes. Anyways I think Scotty and Lilly make better parnters than Lassing did. Well, the actor didnt' have to leave except he found a job on ER. ;D I definitely liked Lassing as Lilly's partner!!! silversideup says: So you'd just like to have a regular type case and them doing what they normally do. I think, with this show, that's probably all they can do. Maybe they could have some big guest stars but other than that what else could they do. I guess the reason I liked Lassing is because he didn't act so macho. I don't really like that trait in men, hence, why I don't like what's his face? The Bobby Carnevale character.

Naj- It was Grey's Anatomy that's why Justin Chambers left, he wasn't on ER

Lilly goes down to the storage area to find the boxes are missing (insert spooky music)
She turns around and there's Scotty. He explains that he's actually a time lord, and he's gone back in time after they've solved each case to prevent the murder from happening. He also tells her that Vera is an alien, Will is a vampire, Kat wants to join the circus, and Stillman wants to go on American Idol.
As Lilly is taking it all in, Scotty bops her on her head. She wakes up with no memory of their conversation.
THE END
Just kidding

There has been a lot of talk about happy endings for all, but I just don't know if that is realistic given the events of season 7. This is how the virtual season 8 plays out in my head. For me, it became all about cleaning house (or at least rearranging the furniture).
Stillman and Jeffries:
I think we can agree that the old dogs deserve to retire. I particularly thought this was true of Jeffries as every season featured at least one case from his past. Therefore, I felt this was a fitting way to let Jeffries go. I gave him a medical emergency as a means for motivating retirement while clearing one last case from his conscience. I am sure I will get flack from some about how there should not be any character deaths, but I only made him sick; I have not decided if I actually need to kill him yet. Stillman's waters are a little more muddy due to his past history with Scotty and the fact that I can't remember who Abby Donovan was or who virtual season 8 intended her to be. In my head, he retires, but I am not sure how to bring this about.
Rush and Valens:
The issue with Lilly potentially leaving for the FBI was resolved in the beginning of the virtual season 8. The assumption was that Lilly would begin integrating into her new family, but I have not done much with Lilly's family thus far. I did put Lilly and Scotty together as a couple with the issue of the FBI agent Lilly was seeing at the end of season 7 as a potential source of conflict for him and Scotty. The notion of Lilly as a potential Lieutenant is also one that I am considering; particularly if I ever take it into a season 9. As for Scotty, I think we can all agree that his temper finally caught up to him at the end of season 7. While I don't know that I see him going to prison, there has to be some kind of consequences.
Miller and Vera:
These two are probably my biggest headache. From what I remember of virtual season 8-5, Chris Lassing did come back and the episode hinted at some kind of relationship between him and Miller. I ended up throwing them together largely because I (and, from what I could tell, the original virtual season 8 creators) completely forgot about DA Bell. And I really, REALLY do not know what a realistic ending for Vera would be.

Regarding some of these remarks about Scotty, I don't know that I got homophobia from him so much as inexperience. I got conservativeness and homophobia more from Vera due to his frequently referring to gays as "Marys" in some of the earlier episodes and his lack of understanding of female veterans noted in 4-2: The War at Home. If you will recall, he did not exactly take Lilly too seriously in the beginning either, but by the end of season 6 it would seem that at least some of his views had changed.
