Obviously gonna happen on or around the first moon landing on July 20.
I wonder how it'll be related.

Hi guys, I'm really sorry I haven't been around but I've had computer issues and vacation time which combined together amounted to a whole month of NO internet! Ugh..
Anyway, I'm back with spoilers for this episode (that was originally listed as #7 I believe, I'm still confused about that) and it does relate to the first moon landing.
Victim is Danny Finch, 12, a nerdy-type kid who's found dead near the river the same night. The kid had built some kind of rocket that wanted to launch. And apparently the same detective that worked the case is now asking the guys for help. Will post more if needed when I read the whole thing.

Just to add, Lily befriends the original detective on the case. They talk about their devotion to the job and how it interferes with other things. This is not a romance, more like a vision for Lily of what her life might be like in the future.

Here is more details about this episode
Danny Finch Seen only in 1969 at 12 years old. He's a bookish, nerdy, scrawny and keenly intelligent boy who skipped a grade in school and turns out to be very brave. A budding chemist and inventor, he doesn't have any friends but he's a sweet, genuine kid who inspires awe in other people once they get to know him. He helps the neighborhood boys, who normally wouldn't give him the time of day, to build a rocket. On the night of the moon landing, his body is found in a river. ACTOR MUST BE ATHLETIC. Guest Star;
Chuck Pierce (1969) 12 but big for his age. He's the good-looking, devilish, imperious leader of a group of boys, which means he gets to be "Neil Armstrong" when playing astronaut. Chuck has saved a bunch of cherry bombs to shove inside a home-made rocket and doesn't like being told by Danny that the rocket won't work, but the next day he stops by Danny's house to ask for help. On the night of the moon-landing, he proves to be the least brave of all the neighborhood boys, and it makes him angry to see Danny becoming the strong one. ACTOR MUST BE ATHLETIC. Guest Star;
Seth Lundgren (1969) 12, stick thin and a bit off. He is a wild kid who hangs out with Bobby Kent and Chuck Pierce but falls third in their hierarchy. He dislikes nerdy Danny and frequently turns on him, but when the boys are attacked by a duo of teenagers, it is Seth who returns to help Danny escape and retrieve their rocket. He holds a pocketknife on the older boys and it's clear he aims to use it if they don't comply with his orders. ACTOR MUST BE ATHLETIC. Guest Star;
Bobby Kent (1969) 12, slightly chubby and pale. He is Chuck's side-kick and sycophant who is always quick to agree with Chuck's decisions and point of view. Bobby's dad has split and his mom works a lot, so he doesn't have much recourse when his half-brother, 17 year old Marcus, attacks Bobby and his friends in the woods. ACTOR MUST BE ATHLETIC. Guest Star;
Chuck Pierce (2008) Now 52 years old. He looks young for his age. He was rejected three times by NASA and is sore about it; he's an air captain who pilots private jets for wealthy people. He's still good looking and still the Golden Boy. He tells Valens and Rush that his interest in rockets as a boy was just a phase and claims that he didn't see Danny on the night of the moon landing. It seems that Chuck's been paying Seth Lundgren's medical bills for many years, and when he's confronted about his lies, Chuck seethes with rage. sptv050769 Guest Star;
Seth Lundgren (2008) Now 52 years old, disheveled and wiry, with thick glasses and a very troubled, frightened demeanor, he suffers from schizo-affective disorder, OCD and paranoia. He was hospitalized for a few years in the late 1980s and currently takes several prescription drugs. Rush and Vera can see that he is disturbed by Danny's death but isn't coherent enough to explain to them what happened. Guest Star;
Bobby Kent (2008) 52, pudgy in the middle and starting to bald. He's a floor manager at a sporting goods store who is busted in a lie by Valens; Bobby claims that he doesn't keep in touch with Seth Lundgren anymore, but his cell phone records indicate otherwise. Despite the passage of time, Bobby is still in Chuck's thrall and can't conceive of turning against him. Guest Star;
Tom "Mack" Mcavoy (2008) 66, a former homicide detective, Irish, pugnacious. Known as "Crackpot Mack" for getting too involved in his cases. He wears a threadbare suit and carries a heavy burden on his shoulders. Though he's been retired for 12 years, he's never gotten over the case of Danny Finch. When new evidence surfaces nearly 40 years after Danny's death, Mack brings the case to Rush and gives her access to all his files. He recognizes her passion and despair over her job and gives her advice about letting things go. Guest Star;
Sandra Finch (2008) 54, an office drone who still smokes. She feels guilty about the way she treated her little brother Danny when they were kids and wishes she had said nicer things to him. She was frustrated at the time because even though he was a year younger, he was in her class at school. Guest Star;
Dick Wallace (2008) Now 67, a bit stern, not as scary as he used to be. He's still demolishing buildings and working in construction. He speaks with Jeffries and Valens in his cheap construction trailer and he seems proud to hear that at least Danny succeeded with his experiment all those years ago. One Day Guest Star;
Marcus Kent (2008) Now 57, hardened and haggard, with lots of tattoos, and "the deadened eyes of a man long incarcerated". He's a Vietnam vet currently serving time for armed robbery. In the interests of getting parole, he tells Valens and Rush what went down in the woods back in 1969. One Day Guest Star;
Dick Wallace (1969) 28, intimidating and scary. He's the foreman on a construction site who chases Danny, Bobby, Chuck and Seth away with a bat when he catches them foraging. Rumor has it that Wallace killed a guy once, but he actually ends up bonding with Danny, bartering with him and giving him some dynamite for his rocket. He's impressed by the kid. Co-Star;
Marcus Kent (1969) 17, a dangerous bully hoodlum. He is Bobby's half-brother who carries a switchblade and whips rocks at Bobby, Danny, Chuck and Seth in the woods. Marcus is furious when Danny gives him a bloody nose, and he doesn't expect Seth to come charging back, with fire in his eyes. SEEKING 18 & OLDER TO PLAY YOUNGER. ACTOR MUST BE ATHLETIC. Co-Star;
Sandra Finch (1969) 13, cute, already a smoker, disdainful and cruel. She is Danny's older sister who makes fun of him for being friendless;
Griff Seen only in 1969 at age 17, he is Marcus's dirtbag friend who whips rocks at the 12 years old boys, pounces on Danny and beats him up. SEEKING 18 & OLDER TO PLAY YOUNGER.

From SpoilerTV:
The deceased of the week is 12-year-old Danny Finch. Back in 1969, Danny was a nerdy and bookish kid who skipped a grade. In a way to connect with other kids, he agrees to help a few of them build a rocket. While they work on the rocket, the kids are attacked by some teens. Danny’s body is found in a river on the night of the moon landing. The team works with Tom Mcavoy, the former homicide detective who worked on Danny’s case back in 1969.

Intense is right! I wonder what happens when Vera screams for Stillman.....maybe a suspect passes out? Maybe they attack one of the other detectives? Sounds like this episode is going to rank right up there with Wednesday's Women in terms of what we've seen of this season so far.

I've been thinking about that scene with Vera yelling for Stillman. I reckon I have an idea what could happen. And if I could figure out how to hide text, I'd post it in here. Help? If not, I'll just have to rely on collider confirming that I had this theory, should I prove to be right
