I was tempted to think that it was Stillman himself that had collapsed (or something like that) but Nick appears to turn his head and shout towards the door, making me think he is shouting for Stillman not at him.

Ahh, ok, RichE, I wiil. I think it's the original case detective who's collapsed or some such thing. He's an older guy, the strain may get to him
