Sorry, I thought you meant you had a video of 2:30 and thought it had to be 2 minutes.

If I cut it down to 2 minutes..the song doesn't sound right which is why I have 2 minutes and 30 seconds of the song now

Naj doesn't mention anything below 2 minutes. Just anything longer than 4 minutes and 30 secs is not acceptable.

Unfortunately that's not how I read it. To my mind "as short as 2 minutes to as along as 4:30" means it should be between 2:00 and 4:30.

I'll leave it to Naj to pass down a ruling.

Okay, okay I just stopped by for a few seconds as I'm not to be back until Wednesday.

I did specify 2-4:30 minutes for a video which was to mean 'within' that range. But since this is the first competition I'm gonna bend the rules because **we want people to enter*** and have some fun and camaraderie. ;D What I didn't want, though, was for people to be spoiling us with their ideas because the whole point of having a competition is to see the video fresh for the first time with no prior information. I'll just chalk this up to over exuberance with the idea of a video challenge.


Also kadoom's post I would concur that's acceptable as well for the challenge:

You can't make the whole vid AU, but the challenge only says

1. The theme of the music video must be related to some aspect of one of the main characters of Cold Case whether it be work or personal life or a combination where they have encountered some personal struggle.

So for example, you could make the AU part a bad dream or something your main character fears could happen or thinks will happen in the future, as long as it's related to something he/she struggles with. That's how I see it, anyway.
And my comment is probably not helpful at all.

Go to the Kathryn Morris thread and pick Kathryn Media Index. It has clips of her from tons of talk shows and appearances. My favorite is the one called 'My Crazy Life'. It cracks me up every time!!

The index hasn't been updated recently. Maybe RichE can remedy that (hint hint).

Also if you look on youtube, there are several Kathryn vids and still photo with music thingees (the word escapes me). I've got one up there that should come up with a search of Kathryn Morris Suddenly I see.
