Glad I decided to check out what's going on in here these days.
What the heck, I'll enter one I made a few months ago. Might not match the standards of some of the super video makers on here, but I was happy with it.
I'll get the info to you soon Naj. I need to change some of the tags on youtube to show it is a Lookagain entry.

Whew, mine is almost done.
Mine is a mix called shooting struggles. It has the shooting, therapy, then it mixes in the "Give Lilly Her Life Back Campaign" stuff.

hmmm.... Naj...I'm thinking since you've changed the deadline to Aug. 31st, I might have time to make one along with all the other videos i'm making for other contests and studying for Chemistry retake. Is there a time limit on a particular video btw? I'm thinking of cutting a song down to 1 minute and 17 seconds, but it will be loaded with tedious time consuming effects  .nvm just re-read the rules again ;D. It's been a long time. |

Plus, how do you know my video will turn out to be great? I haven't even started on it yet, but I do have an idea in my head. Also, Naj hasn't answered my question yet so idk if i'm eligible. Just re-read the ruleshmm.....as short as 2 minutes.....*goes to listen to song again* EDIT: There's still a chance. Anyone here can win. I've seen many great videos that don't win on Youtube and should have deserved to win. |

There's a bunch of other great vidders out there and on here. I just watch as many fanvids on Youtube as possible and try to "dissect" each of them to find out what makes them so great and beloved by other viewers. I'm not the Queen of Music Videos. Plus, the Veronica Mars/Cold Case one with the younger Lilly and Joseph was an AU video. AU videos are what I do very well in. This one unfortunately I can't make an AU video, which makes it challenging for me because I LOVE making AU videos since they add a little "pizzaz" to the fanvid itself. Almost every idea I've came up with always goes back to AU, which is unacceptable for this challenge  . *sigh* no way to make the whole Lilly shooting thing unique. I'm just doing clips to a song with effects. EDIT: AU = Alternate Universe. It is a completely different storyline that a vidder comes up with that hasn't happen on the show and is able to manipulate the clips to their "upper hand" so to speak. |

Almost every idea I've came up with always goes back to AU, which is unacceptable for this challenge . You can't make the whole vid AU, but the challenge only says 1. The theme of the music video must be related to some aspect of one of the main characters of Cold Case whether it be work or personal life or a combination where they have encountered some personal struggle.
So for example, you could make the AU part a bad dream or something your main character fears could happen or thinks will happen in the future, as long as it's related to something he/she struggles with. That's how I see it, anyway. And my comment is probably not helpful at all. |

hmmm...hold your horses....I might not win . I'm taking a very radical approach in my video, not sure if many people will like it or they will find it annoying....but I think it's pretty cool and looks awesome in my opinion....but it's a verrry radical approach. It's definitely a gamble. |

oh I HATE when that happens.
I was practicing for Poms, and I had my music on, which is an upbeat Kelly Clarkson song, and my mom decided to play her slooooooooooooooooow Beatles music very loud.

*groans* Why does it have to be two minutes? 's rules say: 2. The music video can be as short as 2 minutes to as long as 4:30. Entries longer than 4 minutes and 30 seconds will not be accepted (4:30). We will accept slide show videos into the competition. So I think you are OK. |

it says "as short as 2 minutes"...meaning I can't make it 1 minute and 17 seconds which was my original plan because the video has way too many things to be timed in the effects part. If I cut it down to 2 minutes..the song doesn't sound right which is why I have 2 minutes and 30 seconds of the song now EDIT: hmmm....maybe you're right that i'm safe, RicheNaj doesn't mention anything below 2 minutes. Just anything longer than 4 minutes and 30 secs is not acceptable. I really don't want to do 2 minutes of this song....It's very fast. A lot of things to be timed. |
