Write down where you have seen the highest price for gas, and how much you paid recently for gas
For Example- I just paid 19.00 for a half of tank of gas

Cheapest gas price here at the moment: $3.45
Sheesh...seems like we're going back to the "Cold War" when gas prices were like up to 7 or 8 dollars.
I remember when I was 7ish that gas prices were like at 89 cents to 1 buck. Of course...it's 8 years later and the gas prices are rising up because most Americans are too fat to fit in small fuel-efficient cars...so they have to buy stupid 4 x 4 and waste a ton of gas.

>>$40 for a gallon
Wow...that's a bit excessive.
Right now gas here is $3.38 for the cheap stuff. The sad part? We have oil here! We could actually get our gas for cheap, but noooooo!

Well in Australia it's about $1.50 for a litre... No idea how to convert out of metric. I like sticking to nice, even hundreds Fuel prices have been going up and up here... In 2004 you could get a litre for less than a dollar.

In 2004 you could get a litre for less than a dollar. 1 litre is roughly 1/4 of a US gallon, or 1/5 of an Imperial gallon. $40 cannot be right lolgirlyy! That's 20 UK pounds which is way too much. In the UK petrol is just over 1 pound per litre which makes it around US$8 per US gallon, and I know that petrol/gas is cheaper in US. $40 to fill the tank perhaps? Oops, got my US and Imperial gallons the wrong way around.

I think she means 40 dollars to fill the tank. 40 dollars a gallon is wayyyy too expensive... I would kill myself if I had to pay 40 dollars a gallon next year...I start driving next year

Thanks to riche's kind conversion... that means in australia the cheapest you'll find it is about $6.00/$7.50 a gallon. Diesal would be about $6.80/$8.00 a gallon. And you guys think its expensive in the US! Not to mention the land mass in Australia is big but population is pretty small so there's further to drive here to go between towns.

hmm, think we can top that. $2,24 a liter in Germany, makes $10.18 a gallon. But, yeah, distances are shorter here
