Ahem... excuse me..  ...hate to break up the anti-shipper scheming in the SCOTTY/LILLY SHIPPER THREAD[/i][/u]!!! LMAO! But if we could get back to our regularly scheduled discussions that would be dynamite.  I still don't hear anyone denying what we saw in Dog Day Afternoons... you know... not that it would do any good since we all know it was there. I will leave you with a final thought (this is for you yankee...) You do not like them. SO you say. Try them! Try them! And you may. Try them and you may I say. (*sigh* didn't we learn ANYTHING from Dr. Seuss?  ) |

I'll have to watch Dog Day Afternoons again, but I don't recall seeing anything shippy in that one, really. I saw Scotty kinda being overprotective co-worker/pesky little brother; just looking out for her, wanting to make sure she didn't get hurt. The only part I saw as potentially shippy was Scotty offering to make Ray go away. But, like I said...I'll have to watch it again, because it's been a while since I saw it, and I wasn't particularly interested in the Lil/Ray storyline, so I didn't pay close attention to those parts  |

In all honesty, I hadn't remembered much about it either til I saw it again the other day. I just really liked that he was so interested in this side of Lilly that he didn't know about (ie having dated a biker-dude) and I found it to be another little bone from the writer's to the the Scotty/Lilly shippers to have had Scotty take the role of the smirking-coworker-who-just-couldn't-let-it-go. It could have easily been Vera - given that teasing and gutter-thought is right up his alley but nope...it was Scotty that couldn't wrap his head around why it was making him feel like a jealous little boy. Now, having said that, I don't think at that time that he had realized or even thought much about his feelings for Lilly but the idea that he wanted to know so badly was definitely an indicator in my mind. |

Right before that Scruffy guy, pulls up Scotty looks over at Lilly almost wanting to protect her from this. He sort of turns around when she get onto the bike but you know he knows Ray isn't good for her.
In fact that's part of the unknown reason why Scotty comes to Lilly's House in " Joseph" he wanted to tell her that he is the only person who could ever love , care and respect her. That gets buried but Lilly does in fact care about him, asking about his hand. He holds it up as if wanting to her to fix his hand, but says it hurts. At the end of " Baby Blues" Scotty and Lilly both look at each other with such care and devotion.
You can tell Lilly wants to say something to Scotty but due to her walls she can't. In the Red and Blue, the two are flirting with each other but in that kind of way. They both in a way care so much for each other but I see that Scotty does love her. There is no shyness or hesitation from either sides, including Lilly.
" Blackout" Lilly teases him which is another cute L/S moment.
During when her mother shows up Scotty listens to Lilly about her mother and doesn't pass any judgement but is there to support her. Stalker takes the cake, how Scotty keeps on Looking up at the building knowing Lilly is in there without having his protection. His hand touches his finger as if anger is building up, while he is going into the bullpen his breathing is hard.
Scotty is clearly scared for Lilly, but the first question he askes is " Where's Lil"? It's all b/c of her is why he went in there after shooting Ed, Scotty is on the verge of tears Scared of losing Lilly. That is still his concern even during the last episode, perhaps his heart belongs to Lilly but can't quite Admit it

When I get around to re-watching it I'm sure I'll have a rebuttal. I have a feeling that after tonight, you weirdos are gonna be picking apart some imaginary shipper moments in the finale, so I can buy myself a little time.  ;D |

And suddenly you’ll reach an epiphany. That thing which all the shippers know. That thing which would make you dance and glow. Look at that. Would you look over there. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Why no, it’s pigs flying through the air!  Dr. Seuss, I ain't. haha. If we're in a world where "imaginary" actually means "real and true" then yes, yes the finale will have plenty of them, I'm sure. ;D

Anyone have a shipper dream, of Lilly and Scotty finally falling in love. I had one about them dancing at together at a romantic resturant, but they were kissing. Soon after we discover Kat and Vera are in love also.

@yankee- Thanks for coining the term" Shipper Freak".
We are proud to be a shipper, especially with Lilly and Scotty being so cute togther. There are so many cute L/S moments on this show, they really belong together.

I think I'm the queen of being a " Shipperfreak", especially that I can't stop writing fanfics ( sad isn't it) and watch CC I can see a perfect relationship developing.
Shippers- People who want L/S together that see such great chemistry ,love and respect Lilly and Scotty have together.
Then there's the outsiders the antishippers who will remain nameless, that are secretly shippers before won't admit it. They know who they are. They wish they could admit this but can't.
