I juat came across this and i know this is from a long time ago but i loved the one when she was standing next to the grave and she turned to a man and said " sometimes i feel responsible for my husbands death, you know" and the man said " you must like older men detective...because your husband died (i dont know how many i think it was 26) years agi"

Actually my very favourite line is from Resolutions 1x18. Russel: "I didn't say that!" Lilly: "Russel, I'm appealing to your decency here. I think you're a decent person." Loved the whole Russel-interrogation. But of course, Lilly's got a lot of great lines.  |

There was another one that I remarked while watching the German rerun of "Who's your daddy?".
That was the scene when Booker tells her that every girl needs a fatherfigure. Her answer to that was:
"Not all girls."
I liked this one a lot. It showed us a bit of Lilly herself while she was speaking for a lot of other women and girls all over the world, I think.

So, bit of an aside... Not actually a quote, more an -ism... Has anyone noticed Lilly looks down and to the right when she lies? You make reference to this glance.  I also noticed it, But it seems to me that she makes it only (when the question which involves the lie), is very intimate and refers to its past. I shall look for the other moments. I've heard that when you are lying, you look to the right, because you are looking to the *future* and making up new stuff, but when you are really and honestly trying to recall info, you look to the left because you are looking into the past. So, we will be able to tell when Lilly's lying. |

Hmm, I always thought if you looked down to the left or up to the right you were lying, but if you look down to the right or up to the left you're simply remembering something. At least, I read that a while ago. But to be honest, I think it's more an individual thing, like not everyone does the same things, so I guess we may never know!

When someone looks down to the right, its internal dialogue.This is the direction of someone eyes as they "talk to themselves". And where lying makes you use a certain part of your brain, and your eyes follow that, or something along those lines.
But back to Lilly-isms
My most FAVOURITE Lilly-ism (I was like "BOO YAH! THATS RIGHT! IN YOUR FACE! Go Lilly, its your birthday, we're gonna party like its your birthday" when I heard her say it) is:
"Don't Move a Muscle...b**ch"
Its from the episode Stand Up and Holler and what makes it so wickedawesome is the fact that she said it to the girl who said it to the victim before pretty much killing her. It was sooo good!!
