So, I'm a bit late here, but I think she'd definitely be into the Fray (I just got their cd and... ahhh... it's amazing!) I reckon 'heaven forbid' has lyrics that are very Lilly... Might make her depressed;

She definitely likes Chantal Kreviazuk, a Canadian artist. I listen to Canadian radio stations. I have to say that everything we hear in the US isn't always the best artist. Also Wave, Amy Sky, Nylons, Tomi Swick and the QUEEN of HURTS - Jann Arden Arden Jann is such a talent but according to US talent bigwigs she weighs too much. Just awful. |

She definitely likes Chantal Kreviazuk, a Canadian artist. I listen to Canadian radio stations. I have to say that everything we hear in the US isn't always the best artist. Also Wave, Amy Sky, Nylons, Tomi Swick and the QUEEN of HURTS - Jann Arden Arden Jann is such a talent but according to US talent bigwigs she weighs too much. Just awful. Interesting list, Naj.  I am not too familiar with Canadian artists (other than the obvious "big" ones - the one who's name we shall not say McLaughlin, Alanis Morissette, Bryan Adams, etc.) ... I love thinking that Lilly branches out in her musical tastes.  |

I think there could definitely be a love/slow-song playlist on the player ... there are so many good ones out there. "Every Breath You Take" (The Police) "Fields of Gold" (Sting) "Breathe" (Faith Hill)** "Desperately" (Michelle Branch) "You Get Me" (Michelle Branch) ** I'm going to go against my own Lilly-does-not-listen-to-country statement and say that a few country artists (like Faith Hill and Shania Twain) have some really great slow/love songs that aren't really that country-like. |

While I was traveling last week, Rob Thomas' "Ever the Same" was playing in three different stores that I was in ... when I heard it, I instantly thought it a very good candidate to be on Lilly's iPod - especially as we enter Season 4, and what may/may not develop with Joseph. It's a great song.
