I've been silent on this. I guess this is a little Lilly rant
Okay so I can deal with the hair reason for Lilly and we've even got to see Lilly with her hair down. What I can't really stand "what I really don't understand" why the makeup of Lilly makes her look like her eyebrows are painted on her face and her lipstick was put on by a three year old. I really don't like it and I'm kinda tired of it because she is a pretty person but this just is rather unappealing and it's become old.
Anyhow, I'd like to see her natural eyebrows at least.

I think they're going for a "dressed-down" look with her make-up like they are with her hair and clothing (although that look is actually just a professional "no frills" look). I've never noticed either of these issues, so I'm not sure about them, but I think overall, it's supposed to be a no glamour look. Maybe this explains it? I'm not sure.

See, I think she's pretty! Even with bad makeup, so it doesn't matter to me. If this is her at her worst, than she's a damn lucky woman! LOL!

I finally watched the episode again and now I have a fixation on eyebrows and noses. ;D I noticed Stillman and Vera's eyebrows were really penciled up too! Even Valens! lol!

I didn't notice but I'm gonna go look now!! As for Kathryn, IMO she's just perfect! In the screencaps from irishkale, her skin looks perfect. Her make-up may be a little overdone sometimes but I think she always looks great, but then I'm heavily biased aren't I!!! ;D

Part of it for me is that I think that Kathryn is the type of girl who is much prettier when she isn't all made up. I always think she is at her prettiest when they keep it simple and unglam. Most people don't look that great when they're overdone anyway, but I think this is especially true of Kathryn because she just has such naturally beautiful looks. This is why I never notice anything wrong on CC because the whole look is very no-frills. I thought she looked especially pretty when she was down in the vault with Stillman in the beginning of Family.

It's so hard for me to find ANYTHING wrong with Lilly, I actually had trouble posting this. LOL, how sick am I? Anyway, I don't mind the hair or the eyebrows (eyebrows looks ok to me--how much shaggier do you want them, Naj? :smile65: ) I do NOT like her lipstick though. I'd noticed it before but I had repressed it (too traumatizing for my Lilly ho mind), it's too red and looks as if they were on purpose running it off her lips, making them look kinda swollen. I don't mind it enough to rant about it, just thought I'd support Naj on this one tiny thing.

i was looking at the pictures on source#1 and IMO she looks like a ghost- she's so pale! the blond-er hair contributes a bit i think
its just my opinion :smile10:

Sorry! If i had a screencapping program, I'd have tons...
I doubt it..but it's possible. On ER they were able to hide one of the character's pregnancy by being careful about where she was standing and camera angles and stuff. I think it may have just been makeup..

I didn't mean to make you paranoid, Shorty. I was just thinking it's kinda weird they were making her "sick" last ep, and bringing "Josie chippy" in--sounds like they're preparing to make her go away for a while, probably with some other excuse, but in real life to have a baby. They've done it on other shows, and KM IS at the end of her childbearing years, so I wouldn't blame her for wanting to have a kid...
But it's not like I have any real foundation for all this. It's springing straight from my imagination to the board LOL. Don't pay any attention. Didn't mean to make you uneasy.
