I agree, last nights episode was really good... escpecially Ming-Na who played the main girl (the sister.) I'm so used to seeing her as Deb on ER and I thought she was such a different character here. Did anyone else notice how many times Elliott just stared at her... hmmmm hehehe. Anyway, I love this show and that's all I have to say.

TruBlu - Couldn't agree more with this statement:
When they figured out that he was dirty, I almost slapped myself for not thinking of it. Definitely looked back on it and thought, "Of course he was involved! Why else would he have been in the ep!"
CC Fan - I didn't notice Elliot looking at Ming Na. I'm so unobservant! Intersting catch, though.
I also noticed that Munch and Fin weren't in it much. I hope they have more screen time in future eps b/c they make me laugh. I love how Munch plays off Fin and vice versa. ;D

haha I just notice those things, it gets annoying sometimes. But yeah... and I really have to admit, I think Elliott is pretty good looking. He does have a really big forehead but for an older guy, he's pretty attractive.

Lol he is pretty good looking. ;D I didnt really notice how much he was looking at her. maybe if i rewatch, ill catch it now that you pointed it out. Was it just me, or was there no preview for next week? Also, i think that there is an actual pattern to how they re-air episodes on USA. *i got this from the svu yahoo group, dont know about its accuracy but it makes sense to me.* supposidly, USA re-airs the episodes about 12 days after they air, meaning that they will re-air this episode on/around October 10th. this means that the pilot would re-air sometime around october 3rd. ill let you know if i can confirm this. and one last small note: i created a message board for SVU. ill include the link and url, since for some reason my links havent been working lately.. specialvictims.proboards34.comspecialvictims.proboards34.com

I noticed the no promo thing too. I checked my TV Guide, and apparently, the Vice Presidential Debate is on next Tues night. So, no new SVU ep.

Anyone see last night's episode? By far one of the best I've seen ever! It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

Me too CC Fan. My heart was racing! That perp was pure evil. I thought the clues were really intriguing, but I couldn't believe this guy thought killing women was a game. BTW - so I guess they still don't know who the original RDK was then.

God I love this show. I know, when Olivia took the covers off, I was expecting to see a dead body. I almost screamed when I saw him sitting there looking all smug.

I figured it had to be either a dead body like you said or the guy, so I prepared myself for both. But, it still freaked me out! foujylos.notlong.com [/IMG]

Lol im kinda behind, but no matter ;D
Yeah! When she pulled back the covers, i knew it was going to be him, but i still kinda turned to i wouldnt be totally freaked out. <lol> I thought it was a really good plot, how he thought killing women was a game!! i thought the rebus puzzle was sooo creative. And at the end, where Elliot locked Humphry in the closet in order to get him to confess. Very exciting scene...

Tonight's episode looks promising. BTW, I keep reading about how this season is gonna be about Elliot and something bad is gonna happen... what do you think it's gonna be.
I have this whole scene planned out where Elliot and Olivia are coming outside of the courthouse and this person walks up to Elliot and says "Mr. Stabler, you've been served." They both look surprised and Olivia asks him "INSERT NAME OF DEFENSE ATTORNEY?" and Elliot goes "No... my wife." MUHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, I'm really evil and I've been reading way way way too much Fanfic. Anyway, I'm looking foward to tonights episode.

The only thing I can see happening with Stabler is a possible divorce. This would kind of annoy me, though, b/c it seems that every cop on TV has marital/relationship problems. I like the fact that Eliot has a stable home life. I guess we'll just have to see . Tonight's ep does look really good CC Fan. Here's a piece that I posted earlier in this thread. It's from an interview with Mariska on TV Guide Online regarding this week's ep. It's not really spoilerish, but I'll leave space just in case.... * * * * * * * * * * TVGO:Can you preview SVU's upcoming sixth season? Hargitay: I just finished shooting an episode called "Charisma," which is my favorite show ever. Chris Meloni and I are working in tandem, in separate scenes. It's probably the most difficult show I've ever done in my life. It's this amazing story about a cult figure. You gotta watch it because it's really poignant and sad

At least the defense attourney part, in Conscience. And TV- i hope that Elliot doesnt get divorced as well, for the reason that you said, and that it would open the door to a possible E/O ship, which i am NOT a fan of... Tonights episode looks especially promising... i hope percussion doesnt run long!

And SVU didnt disapoint <not that it normally does, but hey...> Neither did Mariska Hargitay, i can see why it was her favorite episode, even though it must have been challenging to shoot.
S P O I L E R
S P A C E
In the scene where they were outside the apartment and they heard the mulitple gunshots, my heart sank. I have a feeling many other people guessed as well what was going on in the apartment, and while it is a sickening thought, it was a good storyline. Then Cragen <making> them all get psych evaluations. I think that Olivia breaking down has to be one of the best scenes that we've seen so far. We dont see her get emotional often. I thought it was kind of ironic that Olivia thought that she would be the one to be taken off the case because she got emotional. I think that we would have been more worried if she didnt get emotional. I was kinda taken aback by Cragen taking Elliot off the case, i thought he might want every resource possible to solve that case. But it was probably the right decision, since he was the one that didnt get emotional.
The interrogation scene between Olivia and the mother: Was intense. As soon as Olivia started raising her voice the tiniest bit, i knew she was going to lose control.
The last scene with Eugene and Olivia, and the girl (whose name is escaping me right now...) Was intense. I didnt expect [the girl] to shoot Eugene, completely took me by surprise. I thought it was a nice ending though, since he ended up destroying himself with that one statement.
Next weeks episode looks Very intreguing.... and when they ADVERTISE a kick-butt court-scene... its gunna be good. Ive scene tons of awesome court scenes that havent been advertised, so i <hope> this one will blow our minds. <Looking forward to more Casey next week as well... you can tell from her personality that she is SO involved in this.

Yesterdays episode was quite involving. My heart also skipped a beat when the bullets started flying in the beginning. Those poor innocent kids.
I admit I don't watch this show every week but when I do watch, I always find Stabler to be very involved with each case, sometimes overly agressive and violent towards the suspects. I wonder why Cragen would send him off based on this case. He seemed as affected by the crime as everyone else. Did I miss something?
I found it amazing how one person could brainwash an entire group of people like this guy did and even after the kids were killer, those women still wouldn't give him up.
Mariska Hargitay was excellent in this ep. She protrayed all the emotions right on and I was very impressed with her acting, although I can certainly see how it must of been emotionaly draining to shoot.this episode.
I was surprised that Melanie was so messed up in the head that all it took for her to shoot Abraham was for him to say he was more powerful than God but thank goodness she did shoot him. But Melanie is messed up for life now unfortunately, buth physically and emotionally. I did feel bad for her. She's only twelve and to have already gone thru what she has was unbelivable and sad.

VERY. POWERFUL. EPISODE!!!! This one ranks up there with "Loss" and "Countdown" as one of my all-time favs. The opening scenes with the cult leader in the house with the kids and the police outside were very intense. You could tell that the cops were confused. They thought the shooter was shooting at them, not the children inside. I thought the complete silence when they entered the house and discovered the bodies was very effective. It was an extrememly emotional moment. The silence made it that much more powerful.
My reading on Craigen taking Eliot off the case was the way he was dealing with it. In refusing to acknowledge that he had witnessed a traumatic event, he was viewed as unfit for the field. I think they were worried that it was going to catch up with him at some point and he would explode. Olivia's reaction was a stark contrast to his, as she was facing what happened to her and releasing the sadness she felt.
Mariska did a wonderful job in this ep. She stole the ep and ran with it beautifully. She showed a human side to Olivia and a wide range of emotions. She was sad, angry, enraged, scared, concerned, frustrated, etc all over the course of one case. Great job. :thumb:
