I think first 3 minutes of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody would make a great ending song, the words are perfect and it's so sad and slow...I would love to see it...

Dear boxman, Hey, bud! So good to hear from you here, and thank you for your compliments on my thoughts of Baker Street, bud. And it exists then! Wow! ;D It also sounds like there is a lot of history behind it too. Manayuk and all, it sounds like that are ahad to go through a great rebuilding to come back in such prominence. I'm just amazed at this tale, and thanks so much for sharing it, boxman! This gives me hope that we might see it in an upcoming 70s ep too! Keep the faith, bud! I hope that we can hear Gerry Rafferty soon on Cold Case for sure! And Futurama sounds like a cool show, and it's anime? Well, maybe not that, I think that is the Japanese cartoon word. I'm not really sure where I would catch that. Is it out on dvd? Just curious. Thanks again for all of your story here on Baker Street, boxman. And keep your fingers crossed, we might see it in the future too! See ya, bud!

This gives me hope that we might see it in an upcoming 70s ep too! Keep the faith, bud! I hope that we can hear Gerry Rafferty soon on Cold Case for sure! Funny thing happened the next day at work. At the office, we're pretty much open-minded about listening to other people's music. One of the guys has an iPod packed with music and he was playing a set of grunge and metal from the early 90s. I asked jokingly, "Hey, you got 'Baker Street' by Gerry Rafferty on that thing?" Two other guys who were around us said almost simultaneously, "YEAH!" They all thought it was a great song too, and the guy who owned the iPod was dissapointed that he didn't have it on there! About Futurama, it was an animated series on FOX, created by the same people that produced The Simpsons. It was easy to miss that show because it generally aired really early on Sunday nights. I guess I kinda confused you, but yes, its on DVD, Volume 3. Normally, the show is just an animated sci-fi comedy; but this particular episode has the flashback music and clincher ending that's a lot like a Cold Case episode. Oh, almost forgot. Here's a link: www.imdb.com/title/tt0149460/

Annie Lenox's "Why." Poignant and perfect for an ending song. I'd LOVE to see CC do an all-Journey episode! That would be the awesomest one artist ep ever for me.

I know this one has already probably been done, seeing as it's seems like it'd fit in with the right generation.
Cold As Ice and Hot Blooded both by Foreigner.
I recon they're a great Lilly contrast. And kinda condradicting, in a way.

I've recently heard the Sundays (after a long time of not hearing any of their songs) and noticed they've never been used on this show. I've read that "Wild Horses" has been used on both "Buffy..." and "CSI". It would be nice to hear "Summertime", "Here's Where The Story Ends", or any of their other songs in this show...

I'm with you on the Bittersweet Symphony - marco. boxman,Aren't The Sundays similar to The Innocence Mission? Are you familiar with them I think they are out of Lancaster, PA. They had a minor showing in the early 90's with the song: "the Wonder of Birds" I have their cd. Another group I liked was October Project.

I would really love if they'd use Danish groups, such as Mew or Kashmir
especially Kashmir's - Rocket Brothers
It would be a great ending song.

I adore "The Way It Is"! They should definitely include that sometime; I also second Bon Jovi. Anything by James Taylor would be good; maybe "You Can Close Your Eyes" (I personally think that would be perfect - - not the best version) or "Sweet Baby James" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EoNd_maBbY), as well as "Fire and Rain." One I would put in would be something by Jackson Browne - maybe "Sky Blue and Black" ( , Tender is the Night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQFkXyGJ4VA) or The Pretender (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ii8lB82L8wc&feature=related), but I think any of them would be good.
