I totally agree with that. One of the things I love the most about the show is that Brennan's probably the only female character on TV that doesn't rely on somebody else and can stand up for herself. So long as she leaves soon, I'm OK. I don't see her staying around long. Hopefully. Once Zack left, there was a big change. I liked him from the beginning, and I think the whole storyline with him at the end was stupid, and out of place. It didn't fit. Hodgins and Zack had a great relationship, and how they worked together was great. It bugs me that they ruined that (no pun intended ). And that's another thing about how the relationships have changed: First season, Brennan/Angela friendship was basically the main friendship, right? Now it's Brennan/Booth. Basically I agree with you!

Okay, Has everyone seen episode 23? The one where Gordon Gordon comes back? It's so good - the fact he's there (and he does air guitar). I love Stephen Fry. I want to lick his brain. I was so excited when I found him on Twitter!
SO anyway, spoilers ahead for 4x21...
...
So Gordon Gordon says to Sweets that in Booth and Brennan's relationship, one of them is aware of the attraction between them and struggles with it daily. And later in the episode there's that handkerchief moment; so I'm pretty sure it's Booth who's attracted to Brennan, and Bren who's completely oblivious but just wanted to run that by someone else... Yes? No?

They've been mentioning a lot about love and Brennan starting to wonder whether or not to believe in it, for quite a few episodes. And at the end of 'Cinderella in the Cardboard', the way Booth said something about love being worth it was so obviously more than just about Parker. And, to me, it seems she asking all this because she's starting to feel like there's more. I think Gordon Gordon was talking about Brennan, because to me Booth already knows he loves her/could love her and can accept it. Whereas she is starting to wonder, but can't really accept it, because it's against what she knows.

I love him, he's so brilliant and such an amazing actor! I'd love to see him appear on House, Fry & Laurie style! [spoilers below] See, now I can't really decide who he was talking about. They've been mentioning a lot about love and Brennan starting to wonder whether or not to believe in it, for quite a few episodes. Whereas she is starting to wonder, but can't really accept it, because it's against what she knows. Hmm... I get what you mean, but what did Gordon-Gordon say? Wait, as I dig out the RMVB... "One of them is acutely aware of that attraction and struggles with it daily." I'm still riding the Booth train on this one. Yes, Brennan may be getting closer to admitting she loves him and I sense the writers setting it up to jump the shark (oh, I hope they don't get them horizontal, keep it X Files, I'm so not a shipper). Anyway, tangent over, I think Booth is the one that struggles with his attraction to Brennan daily; For Brennan it comes and goes, there's moments, but generally she's just buried in her science. And let's not forget her list of dates is longer than Booth's (I still love the early-in-this-season episode where she was dating two men; one of them Motorcycle Ray himself). So Booth all the way for me... Although there are conflicting fics over at ff.net.

Has anyone seen the season finale? JUMP THE SHARK!!! And that's all I have to say about it... I think we could see it coming all the way through season 4. I can't believe where the show has gone. I just watched the bloody circus episode as well, coz it was on tonight. They were talking about how circus people don't talk to others, then all of a sudden Bones was like (I'm paraphrasing): I know let's go undercover in the circus. Pathetic with a capital P. I also had already d'loaded that episode where Booth get's stuck in a submarine or something, and a ghost helps him escape. I haven't seen the season finale but from what I've read, its just a bone for the shippers. fark, I'm angry becuase it was such an unreal show. Seriously, listen shows should probably listen to their fans to an extent, but they probably could've done it better. I'm not making sense at all. And whilst CC might have gone down the gurgler a bit, it can still give some great episodes, and hasn't turned into a joke.

I have watched the first two or three seasons of Bones. Bones was on tv on summer. I haven't watched the seasons fully. (It was at the same time with something else I watched then: Law&Order:SVU or Supernatural...). I found it pretty good. Sad that it changed in some way... As far as I get it, all the series with obvious "love things" between the main characters can't avoid jumping the shark... It seems that the writers can't keep the balance. The exceptions, like Law&Order:SVU, are too few. X-files belongs to the past, finally...

What the flip did they do in the season finale? I really didn't like it. The episode was kinda good(I couldn't knock it too much case look at the CC finale and I loved it), but why give Booth amnesia? That was just stupid!

Just to leave a cliffhanger maybe... The worst thing will be, if the new season starts and Booth is healed at the first episode... So what would be the point in this case??
And a relevant question: How many series ended with an hallucination this year?? 1. Cold Case, 2. House, 3. Bones Are there more???

Did Cold Case actually end with a hallucination though?
I don't keep up with Bones that often, but I'll watch it if it's on the TV. I heard what happened in the finale, and I can see why some people are tiffed about it.
Some might find this interesting, but in the latest issue of Decibel magazine they had a one page article about an episode of Bones that dealt with the black metal culture. Me being me, I was like, "I Have to watch that episode! If only to see how badly they screwed it up!" (although according to the magazine they actually did a good job portraying it.)

They actually did a really good job! When Booth said who are you, I literally screamed at the TV! A lot of fans want to see them together and after all of this that happened you had the feeling that Bones was finally going to let her guard down enough to have a possible relationship with Booth in the upcoming season and the Boom, the hammer is lowered and they pull this! This was a flashback to the days of Dallas when an entire, I mean ENTIRE season was all Pam's dream. (Showing my age here).

That episode is "Man in the Morgue", Season 1, Episode 18. haha am I showing my "Bones" addiction there? I definitely h@te "Bones" now for obvious reasons. It went to the sh!tters after Season 2. I don't watch it anymore, but I still like the old episodes.

Okay I am officially ticked off at Bones! All I can really say is WTF was they doing with the season finale. I was looking for a pick me up after the awful week of losing my Cold Case, and then Bones goes and does that to me on the finale. This week has not turned out well!

I reckon Bones does the whole forensics better than CSI. I think its mainly because the characters work well together, where as CSI, the characters are a bit sterile and don't steer away from their given stereo type. Plus, CSI always seemed to have these random minute forensic details that can only be found by the lead man, and lo and behold, he solves the crime. In Bones, the forensic and the investigation parts are put together really well, and you feel like that everyone had a hand in actually solving the case.
