Yes! This show is awesome as well. Only problem is it's on at the same time as ER, so the only time I get to watch it is when ER's a rerun. Oh man, I'm totally in love with Martin.

I love Without a Trace. It's my second fav JB show (I'll give you three guesses for my first choice ). I think that the stories are well developed and the characters are very rich like CC. Definitely in my top 5 shows. ;D

josh hopkins fans: yes, our josh hopkins.... i was watching an episode from last season, and i saw josh hopkins' name in the credits! he plays one of sam's old boyfriends, and he has a few scenes with sam that are pretty funny. the episode was about a female flight attendent who went missing. maybe when they come out with a dvd (there have been rumors... ) you josh hopkins fans can see it.

Wow. So Jack is really leaving. Or so they want us to think. Sam seems pretty torn up about it. Alls i know is that they had an affair if season one, but jack broke it off. i didnt watch the show early in the 1st season... . I CANNOT BELIEVE NO ONE TOLD MARTIN ABOUT IT!! He just found out last night. He looked crushed. I think he has a little thing for Sam... Anyone else have something to say about that episode?

TruBlu- I think Jack will stay when push comes to shove. I have the sinking feeling that they're going to end next week (the season finale) with it up in the air. Then, we'll have to wait until Sept. to find out what happens. Hopefully, I'm wrong and we'll know next week. Speaking of next week, did you see the previews?? It looks awesome! The missing persons case just looks really interesting.
About the Sam/Martin storyline. I never realized that he had a thing for her before last night. I guess I'm just totally oblivious (I missed the Lilly/Kite foreshadowing on CC too). I don't know how I'll feel about them hooking up. It kind of goes back to the discussions we have about Lilly and Scotty maintaining a professional relationship only. Partners hooking up is never a good idea IMO. But, maybe they're just going to leave it the way it is - Martin has a thing for her, but he's not going to act on it. I guess we'll just have to see. ;D

TV Fan,
regarding what you said about the Sam/ Martin thing, did you see the episode with Martin's aunt? It kind of confuses me, Sam is comforting Martin all through that episode, especially at the end when he is LYING in her ARMS. and yet, the next episode, there is NO reference WHATSOEVER that anything ever happened between them. its like they dont even know eachother. i dont know about anyone else, but it feels like someone was reading me a story but the publisher forgot to put in the last page of the book.
peggyk, was this the episode you were refering to when you said:?? if not let me know if you still havent figured it out...

TruBlu- I know what you mean. It seems like there is a lack of continuity regarding the character's personal lives on Without a Trace. Jack's wife moving to Chicago has been consistant, but that's the only thing lately. I think they're trying to keep all the story lines confined to a single episode so it will sell into syndication easier. I agree that it is annoying though. It seemed like Martin's comment to Sam came out of nowhere because we hadn't had any type of follow-up from when his Aunt went missing. Maybe it will make more sense after this week. I do like the show though. ;D

haha i noticed you (TV Fan) said that Jack' wife moving was the only consistant thing in the show really, and now, thats definitely the only thing, since she wants a divorce from Jack! Yes, he seemed heartbroken. i guess he thought things were going well. i guess now hes staying in new york. so what will happen to vivian's promotion? i know she wanted Jack to stay, so maybe she'll just give it back to him. And they FINALLY followed up (sorta) on Martin and Samantha. His comment last week really made no sense if a. You didnt know that Jack and Sam had an affair in season one, which he ended. and b. What happened in the previous episode. Aywhays... First, Martin saves Sam from being shot YET AGAIN in a season finally (everyone remember her role in the Barry Mashburn case in Fallout pts. 1+2? If you dont i will explain...) And then when they go out for drinks in the end, they share a cab home, even though they live on opposite sides of the city... hmm... maybe there was some dancing going on? .... just kidding!

I agree TruBlu, Jack did look heartbroken. It seemed like his wife was starting to see them as a family again. I think her decision really took him by surprise. I wonder if Jack getting called out on that case was kind of like a last straw for her. Maybe she decided that she didn't want to live that life anymore. I think she looks at Chicago as a fresh start - professionally and personally. About the Sam/Martin storyline - I wonder how this will play out next season. Will it be a relationship or just a one night thing? Either seems like trouble to me. It kind of bothers me that the writers had her with Jack and now Martin. I guess we'll just have to see what happens come Sept. I had to laugh at your observation about Sam being saved in both season finales. Too funny!

I have to say, i liked the way poppy montgomery played Sam when she got shot better than when she didnt. but she did a good job at the cab scene. im hoping Sam and Martins relationship will last more than one night. i was surprised, a lot of people think that a relationship will take away from the show. i think it'll add a little something. Sam and Martin know better than to flirt during a case... major flirting that is!

TruBlu - I have to agree with you on the way Sam acted when she was shot versus this year's finale. The Sam/Martin thing could add something to the show. I guess it will all depend on how they deal with it next season. ;D

ugh! I missed the season finale and I'm so bummed because I've been wanting Sam and Martin to get together since the first episode.
Do you think they'll replay it anytime soon?
