Has that FINALLY been confirmed?! Well, I've read several different articles, but I saw this one a few days ago and it got my hopes up: It's from the Sci Fi channel website: The X-Files star David Duchovny, writing as a guest reviewer for the Razor gaming Web site, said that a second X-Files movie is in the works, with shooting to begin possibly next year. Duchovny also voices Mulder in the upcoming PlayStation 2/Xbox video game The X-Files: Resist or Serve, with his longtime co-star, Gillian Anderson, voicing Scully. "I'm proud of The X-Files, and I'm very pleased to see how the video game will help extend the life of the series," Duchovny wrote. "We're also working to put together the next X-Files movie. I'd imagine we'd get into shooting in the next year or so, depending on when the script is written."In the meantime, Duchovny said, the new video game title is the next best thing. "I think people will like the game as much as the show, because we all enjoy mysteries where everyone thinks that there's just one final answer that'll be uncovered at the end," he said. "Plus, games are an acting challenge for their favorite stars, who want to be tools for the people shaping the product. With TV and movies, actors have more control over the performance." The X-Files: Resist or Serve will be available Feb. 18, 2004, with a suggested retail price of $49.99. |

I think the movie is being postphoned , I'm not too sure but I don't think they are fliming anytime soon. Gillian's due to have her second child at the end of this year. So who knows when the sequel will debut.

It'll be awesome when they do it... And so will the video game. I'm not usually into video games but I loved the first x-f game. Don't know when they're going to set the movie... I can't imagine it just being a happy-families' thing with M&S and the baby... Probably the childs grown up and its the key to the new, paranoia free future etc.

The series was re-airing on the sci-fi channel weekday evenings and I was just beginning to get into it again and now--*poof*-- it's gone! :-(

Meanwhile, I'm still gunning for a movie, although GA and DD will have aged somewhat since season 9 ended. I wonder what the actor who played GIbson Praise is doing now?

it's cool to hear that other people like watching the show as I do. but i've never got my hopes up on there being another movie out. if there is tho, all the better!
oh, michelle. x-files also airs in the wee hours on TNT. i usually have it recording so i can watch it the next day. in central time, it airs @ 11pm on monday night to 5am on tuesday morning ... those are usually more consistent week after week. SciFi air dates are all over the place!!! I usually check online tv listings for air dates/times.

Anyone know if the X-Files is out on DVD? I used to watch little bits here and there while the parentals weren't watching. Apparently, it was too scary.
I remember this bit where Scully's in this room, and the walls are closing in on her. Did that actually happen? Or am I imagining that?
LOVED the show. Wonder if any of the Aussie channels are going to repeat it any time soon? Jam, do you rememeber which channel had airing rights for it in the first place? Was it 10? I dunno, I can't recall. I wanna send them an email.

Anyone know if the X-Files is out on DVD? Yep, in Australia you can buy them in boxsets, about $50-70 each (one season per box). I can't remember that bit...anyone else? I'm not Jam, lol, but yes it was 10. If you have pay tv, one of the channels there shows it. |

YUp, I probably dreamed that bit. Wouldnt surprise me.
I thought It was 10. But just checkin'. Nah don't have pay TV, but my friend does. She loves me. I'll just take over her couch for an hour or so each night, she wont mind.

Nine Seasons
Yes Mulder and Scully got together and had a son but when Scully got pregent he got abducted by aliens. He came back and Scully had their son but then he went into hiding and She was taken off the x-files that was being replaced by two new agents. The last episode Mulder comes out of hiding to expose the truth and hense the 14 second kiss that they shared
