Naj - I finally got on the jibjab site and watched the "Good to be in D.C" clip. It was so funny! Thanks for letting me know. The creators of that site are so good at these funny political cartoons. I love the way they bash each candidate equally.

I'm not American. If i were i'd be voting for John Kerry.
I think Bush will win though, just like his little 'best friend' did here in Australia.

I'm not an American, and if I were I'd vote for John Kerry. I don't agree with most of his politics, especially on the international field. And the directions the US takes affect the whole world.

I'll go! foujylos.notlong.com [/IMG] Is it me but does something seem weird about this election? What I mean is we know that there were problems in Florida in the last election concerning the ballots and now this year the stage was Ohio. I know things this year are a little bit different but still something seems weird. I don't think this problem has ever happen before in election history. I do know Republicans here (Ohio) wanted pollsters at the polls to make sure folks were registered to vote and not using a phony names. They weren't questioning everyone but if something seemed weird to them then they could challenge it or something. Of course, these pollsters were set up at districts that were predominately African-American. I do know when I voted I was in line for a hour and I am so glad that there were chairs there because I was sick with the flu and I was feeling pretty weak. I just hope that no one caught it from me but I bet someone did. What was funny was that I came close to getting sick on the ballot. foujylos.notlong.com [/IMG] Heck, at least I did my civic duty. I just hope jobs come back to my area. Jobs are hard to find here. I'm grateful that I have a job but I know folks can not support a family with Walmart wages. Tracylynn

I waited an hour and a half (Georgia) in the rain. So TracyLynn, I have a feeling I'll be right there with you regarding the flu. I wasn't sick before, but I'll probably be soon. I've been taking my vitamins just in case foujylos.notlong.com [/IMG] But, this was first real voting experience. The last Presidential Election was the first time I was old enough to vote, but I had to vote abstentee b/c I was out-of-state at college. GA went completely computerized this time, and it was a breeze. It was nice to exercise my right in person this time and not through the mail.

Hey all. Guess this was a really big turnout this year! I really think that Florida should have a paper trail for their new machines. All of this needs to have parity within all the states not different rules.
