Hi, all! Great to see you again after all this upgrading time.
The board looks pretty much the same, except for some reason the PM folder isn't working. Anyone else having the same problem? When I get into the board, a sign pops up telling me I have a new instant message, but when I try to look at it, it just tells me:
An Error Has Occurred
Invalid addModule call.
Read further down thread my post dated June 4.[/color]
Thoughts anyone? Maybe it's just a matter of time.
Problem fixed July 17!

Hey, everyone--my problem's been magically solved, don't know who did or when or how, but I'm able to see my PMs perfectly now. Thanks!!!
So there's no point to this thread. Naj, TVFan, Ryebeach or some other nice mod... could you please erase it?

I have checked on this at support and they think we have a scripting error on the board somewhere. If you click cancel on the pm message notification boxs and access your private message inbox by going to the bottom right of the forum and accessing there, it does go away.SEE HERE WHERE TO ACCESS YOUR PRIVATE MESSAGES:www.kaleirish.com/KM/private_messages.jpgThere are bugs and patches that have to be run after all the 40 plus boards have been upgraded. Not sure if it's worth mentioning, considering problems are still being fixed, but I'm having this problem now (I probably hadn't noticed before because I don't use my PM much).

It's the exact same problem Disasterfreak described in the first post of this thread. The only way to access my PMs is how you described later "If you click cancel on the pm message notification boxs and access your private message inbox by going to the bottom right of the forum and accessing there, it does go away."

Okay Tati. We did have some coding fixes. I will have to look into this further. In the meantime, everyone who is having this problem will need to access private messages as in the instructions listed earlier in this thread. ~Naj |

I just wanted to write to let you know that I have experienced this problem with my PMs since the upgrade. I always have to cancel and go to the bottom to access them correctly. If I try from the main page, it brings up an error. I know you said that you are looking into this, and I am truly sorry if I am pouring too much on you. Just wanted to make you aware. Hi byrdman, We are aware of the problem and as soon as we can we will work on getting this corrected. I've been offline since Tuesday because my internet service was disrupted. If anyone wants to try going into your "private message area" and changing your PREFERENCES selection to NO:
Would you like an alert box to notify you when a new private message has arrived?
No Yes
And then let me know if the alert box still appears on your screen everytime you log in, that would be a help.
Also I see that the alert box comes up (I'm in Microsoft Internet Explorer) but it only loads halfway.

Changing it in the profile to No do not send me an alert doesn't do a thing. I still get an alert. So that isn't working.
