Hey!
I'm going to bring this all to TVFan's attention. I've been having discussion with some others elsewhere on the internet regarding some other interests I have that has been posted on YouTube and how YouTube is being used.
The initial idea is that everyone involved with making the video database have the clips uploaded where they can be accessed indefinitely. So six months from now if I go to your links, they will work.
Maybe there is just too much per episode to attempt this? However I have seen this concept done with other television shows. Is it legal? I would think not. But then why does YouTube allow full shows being uploaded on their site? I'm not referring to Cold Case but there are entire movies uploaded in segments.....Personally with how the internet is going, I don't feel it's wrong to do this segment idea based on what's out there. But there is a question of legality.
I'm rambling so I'll stop and bring this to the admins and moderating staff for discussion .

The file that I upload stays there for an infinite amount of time. Basically, it works similiarily to an external hard-drive. It's a storage site. Meaning I can upload a file and other people can get it. I think it's "legal" in some way. It's not like we're showing the whole eppy. Most of my clips are short, except the pilot eppy had a lot of interesting clips because its introducing Lilly to the public.

Okay - let's give this project a go. ;D So carry on! Just keep adding to this thread and eventually we'll create an index for all of this. see this thread for the original discussion of this project: index for Lilly Rush all seasons

How are we going to narrow that down? ;D It's basically a matter of personal opinion lol.

I'd say, "no", we can't limit this to one segment per episode because that won't work. The idea is to show a good sampling of who Lilly is. It doesn't mean we have to show the entire scene, though. I know RichE mentioned this early on in the initial discussion (to limit it to one scene per episode). Also I only watched the first clip you have posted. I want to go ahead and watch the others. Hopefully RichE can make some suggestions too. In the meantime if you want to go ahead with the second episode, please feel free to do so.

The original thread was, I thought, and the title backs this up, supposed to a collection of clips telling the story of Lilly. The more personal side of Lilly. As we know there hasn't been a vast amount of the personal side of any of the CC squad so it seemed a do-able thing. Plus Lilly's been through a lot. My clip 1 per episode idea was a not a suggestion of a fixed rule by any means. I don't know CC as well as some of you but I felt that we could probably cover Lilly's key moments in a dozen or so per season, plus it would limit the work involved and downloads for any wishing to view them. Many would argue that it should take a lot more than 12 per clips season, and that in more recent seasons we might struggle to find even that many. This thread looks like it more of a collection of all (or at least, many) of Kathryn's scenes in CC. Which, in my view, is a very different project. And perhaps one that might be seen to be pushing our luck a little far. Just my two penneth.

That's right personal Lilly. Thanks for pointing that out.
So looking only for personal stuff on Lilly we may not have anything to make a clip of in the first few eps and as we get into each later episode you can just take everything and make one clip out of it for that ep? Is that what you are thinking? As we progress through each season the clips will get longer in some eps than in others.

We may not need a whole scene or everything in an episode covering a particular topic. Perhaps just enough to give a flavor of the issue and Lilly's reaction to it.
