Certainly the Catholic Diocese must have some cases where young boys and or girls were killed under circumstances of molestation. The #PennState #JerrySandusky case knocked a chink in the armor on this subject. The Catholic diocese of Harrisburg, Pa. filed for bankruptcy on Wednesday as it faces millions of dollars in sexual abuse claims, over a year after the state released a grand jury report detailing alleged abuse by hundreds of priests....And it continues around the state of Pennsylvania: HarrisburgCatholicDioceseSource: PENN LIVE

So this is a topic I've actually been thinking about for quite some time, and since lockdown has inspired me to check in on some of the old forums I frequented, I'm super happy to see you've started this topic, Naj! I second your thoughts on how Cold Case could have done a lot of interesting work on the subject of abuse in the Catholic church. This docu-series is old news by now, but The Keepers on Netflix was phenomenal and I think that a show like CC could have done a very tasteful "ripped from the headlines" type episode on that case. Another case that would have (in my opinion) made a great episode of Cold Case is the case of Conrad Roy. I don't remember whether or not CC ever tackled the (somewhat) similar case of Megan Meier (which happened while the show was still airing), but I would imagine that it would make for a very emotional, topical episode.

How's it going, sippinonacolada.
I am not familiar with the cases you speak. There are so many cases that could be tackled with the state of our country and world at present. Where I am at, locally, in central Pennsylvania, not far from Kathryn's old stomping grounds at Temple University, there are several notable cases involving psychics that were consulted. One, notably, Cindy Song, and the national case of our own Centre County District Attorney, Ray Gricar, who went missing on April 15, 2005. The Gricar case would be an interesting one for Meredith Stiehm to tackle since, she too, is/ was associated with Pennsylvania. Since I have not heard of any reboot or even television movie calling the crew back into duty. Cold Case will not have a say on these cases until they do return. Now, more than ever, we need Cold Case to show the humanity of all those affected by these, many oftentimes, senseless acts by seemingly good people. The show simply got it, the real time actions and feeling and emotions of all involved.
