The sentencing stems from the activists’ February 2012 arrest for reportedly breaching security and illegally boarding an oil drillship, thus delaying its departure from Port Taranaki in New Plymouth. The group scaled the ship’s drilling rig and occupied the ship for more than 70 hours to protest against Shell's intention to drill for oil in Arctic waters.
What do I think about this. First it would be a travesty to allow oil drilling in Alaska. This is one thing that President Obama is thumbing his nose at despite the Puppet Masters' attempts to make him go along with their world plan to do just that. If you don't know who the "Puppet Masters" are then you are behind the game of power. I'll just let it at "we each have our perception of what the world is about."
While I think that the actions are noble for someone to try in 1990, I don't feel her actions are appropriate for our current time. I'm surprised she got away with 120 hours of community service and a few hundred dollars fine. I can't even begin to ponder what actions are appropriate for 2012. However, I wouldn't try it again.
And, now, this is where I have a problem with the Xena fans. My god, if Lucy were to gun down someone they would be there in droves supporting her---that she did the right thing. No matter what the situation they would be there touting their horns for her. It's very odd to watch all this hoopla going on and people volunteering to also do 120 hours of work (the Xena Fans) collectively. Why does everything revolve around what Lucy is doing. Can't these people think for themselves?
This is why I'm here at the Cold Case board. These fans are so down to Earth. They don't live and breath Kathryn and Danny and Lilly and Scotty. The show is over! They are off living their lives and making their own choices. Not running after Kathryn and Danny and dragging their coat tails. Kathryn Morris was most intelligent in not engaging this home forum of Cold Case. Even the writers and such didn't get too involved and I applaud them for it.
So, what will Ms. Lawless do next that might land her in jail. And, then her fans will be running in droves to the local jails asking to do time.
