I recently watched an ensemble show season one and found on the internet clips of each episode of every season of this one character's personal scenes.
I was wondering if anyone or several would be interested in this undertaking. Some were uploaded to YouTube and other clips were housed elsewhere.

Do you have any thoughts of how to do this efficiently? I'm happy to create a load of clips. If someone wants to compile a list it would help me out. It will take a while though. |

I hope we can avoid multiple clips from each episode. My guess is that over the course of a season we could pick perhaps 12 (or so) key clips showing the Lilly's progression. Sound OK?
After that list of scenes is chosen then as much info as possible about which episode: whereabouts (roughly) within the episode, and the setting; would help in find tracking them done as quickly as possible. And after that it is up to me, or anyone else that wants to chip in, to do the work.

OK this sounds like a great idea and some fun. The personal story lines are my favourite part of the show. Anyone anyone mind if I help out?? I have all the episodes in avi format but don't know how to extract just the clips from them so I could start by helping out with the list?? I could look at the second half of season one and come back with a list or start on season two?? |

Hi BAM. I think it would be great if others can chip in. If you have stuff specific to season one and know what it is right off you can start there. I'd really have to sit down and watch each episode first to gauge where to begin. We just want to do this in a way that utlizes what everyone has. If you have stuff from season one that's great. Also, RichE, you really might want to think of a way to protect all your hard work. Anyone could come here and download this stuff. Don't know if it's a big deal to you or not. I could help with the clips too? I have a way to protect anyone that even if they do steal the clips and don't give credit to this site ...I can put logos on the "Cold Case" clips. I do this with my "Bones" clips for another website. Maybe put a Look Again logo on the clips? I have practically every single episode of "Cold Case" on my computer. Not sure what you would want. On my "Bones" website that I do this for, we mainly just put clips that are important,but we have like no limit. Mostly all the clips add up to 10-15 minutes. Do we have a limit on here? |

Thanks Naj - I'll make a start on my list from season 1 (I will start at the beginning).
RichE & coldboneslove459, do you have the episodes in a format without commercials? I was hoping to just give a brief description of the scene and then the time in the episode but this would be with the cold case intro but no commercials. Can you let me know if this will work for you both? If not, can you give me some indication of the easiest way for you to find the clips?

yeah all my episodes don't have commercials. I don't find clips, I make my own with a movie maker. I think you should have it on your computer. I think every computer except mac(iMovie) has Windows Movie Maker.

I'm ad free across all 5 seasons/series.
I'm not worried about protecting the clips, just as I don't the other clips/caps I post here. They're not exactly my work.
We may have a few items already posted in other threads (mainly from more recent seasons) we could recycle.

Turning up at Joseph's door (another door reference, they must mean something). The drunken phone call to Kite. Joseph leaving her. Getting shot. Mother dying. |

Nothing happened!  Well, we've had some input. I guess I thought that those that indicated interest might meet and discuss how to approach this. I kinda dismissed myself because I have no tech skills in doing the work. It would be great if a group of those interested could meet in Live Chat and talk about the project then proceed. That's probably the way to go on this as a starting point. That's just my opinion. Generally or about this topic? I lol'ed but anyway... what happened with this, anything?
