TVFan, thanks once again for another year's work and effort you've put into these polls! Can one of the board admins fix the threads so we can see the bargraphs? Even though I'm logged in, I don't see the final vote tallies. Thanks!

Bar Graphs are fixed. You can see the vote tally logged in or as a Guest. I re-iterate boxman's sentiments regarding another great year of voting set up by TVFan. Thank you for doing these annual awards.

TVFan, thanks once again for another year's work and effort you've put into these polls! I can only second that! Thank you all very much for making this last "Best of Season Awards" voting possible. Though I did it with mixed feelings since it's really been for the last time now, voting in all the different sections was a lot of fun and reminded me of all the remarkable scenes we've been able to see this season.

Nice to see the Pink Floyd-centered episode clean up! You all have great taste.

With the series now over, it would be interesting to take the winners from each season and vote on the "Best of the Series"

With the series now over, it would be interesting to take the winners from each season and vote on the "Best of the Series" Great idea! We could compare every season and all the episodes and find our "Best Of The Series" winners. It would be exciting to see which episode would be chosen as the best ever.

With the series now over, it would be interesting to take the winners from each season and vote on the "Best of the Series" We'd have to have nominations for Season 1 ( since it's the only season we did not do the awards) and go thru that process and then take the top 7 for each category. Not sure if TVFan is up for that!

There are so many amazing episodes that it would be really, really hard to pick just one or two in each.

I think something like that would be a great idea, if TVFan wants to do it.

Sounds good to me. IMO, Churchgoing and A Perfect day were the best. In just two episodes and less than 80 mins, they showed the horrors of domestic violence better than any other crime show I've seen.

I think it would be fun! I know my favorites are wayyy different from others, so I'm interested in seeing what gets nominated and voted for. The only problem is that I have about 4 episodes in my head that are tied at first place for "Series Best"!!

If I were to do it the voting would go by who has won in our past seasons and then put those winners up against each other. That is the easiest way to do it. Before that we would need to have a "Best of" Season 1. If you all wish to do something different then let me know here on this thread. I'd say to do the "Best of" Season 1 next. And to do that we need a moderator for that one using the same categories we have used in past seasons. Anyone wanting that job, please private message or email me off the boards: najara12000@yahoo.com or lookagainboards@yahoo.com

I would prefer to have a whole new "vote for your favourite episodes" of all time, as I wasn't here to vote on earlier seasons
I also think some seasons were stronger than others, so episodes that might not have made the top five of that season were better than episodes that won their category in other seasons.
(E.g. I think season four was a lot stronger than season six, and I would put my favourite ep from that season way below a lot of season four episodes)

Okay so is it safe to say that you all are just interested in one category: Best Episodes of Series? Would you like it to be a top 10? Top 25? or what? Because I can adjust the poll vote to allow you to vote for more than one. Before we do that we should at least do a Best Episode poll of Season 1. I'm up for rewatching those episodes!

Posting this far too late, but my votes would have been for:
Best episodes 1. Flashover. Really strong character focus on Vera, and a great plotline 2. Two Weddings. Hilarious episode, and a nice twist on the usual formula. 3. The Good Soldier. Very interesting story about military recruiting. Mike was an admirable character who bought out the best in others. Also had some great music. 4. Metamorphosis. A good story set at the circus 5. W.A.S.P. Really opened up my eyes to an area of WW2 history that had been neglected.
Best Closing Song: Keepsake by State Radio in Bullet. It had a kind of timeless quality about it that made it suitable for both the older and more recent cases. Best Soundtrack: Metamorphosis had one of the most perfectly chosen and used soundtrack of the series. Best Comic Scene: Lilly, Paul & Finn in the car ("The Good Soldier") and Louie discovering the team's investigating Noah's death "You're all dis-invited to the champagne brunch!" ("Two Weddings") Best Dramatic Scene: TIE - Lilly & Scotty save Christina ("Shattered") Least Favorite Episode: Tie between Iced or One Fall
