The Stones, The Doors, Pink Floyd, classic 70s soul.....so many great choices there. However, I had to go with the Floyd. You cannot go wrong with some PF.

I went with "Soul" because I thought the music fit really well with the scenes. A close second was "Metamorphosis" featuring The Doors. The visuals timed pretty well with the lyrics at many points. Surprisingly, I really wasn't thrilled by the use of both Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones. In "Flashover", the use of Pink Floyd's music was really distracting to me because "The Wall" is a favorite movie of mine, and that's pretty much what I visualize when listening to their music. "Shattered" simply had too many interesting things going on in the plot that I barely paid attention to the music.
Off from this list, I really enjoyed the use of Santana's music in "Dead Heat". The Mexican theme in the episode worked perfectly. Since I like old school hip-hop, "Read Between the Lines" would also be another one I'd consider, even though I think it could have used more hip-hop tracks throughout the entire episode.
