Just a little uplifting thread. Post things that make you feel happy, or something that can always cheer you up no matter what. If you want, you can also add a little description. Dance. Dance is truly my escape, I channel every sort of emotion possible through choreography and dancing. Yoga. Who doesn't love getting all calm and stretched out- and it's excellent exercise! Friends & Family. The obvious. Everyone I know has helped me through so much, and I love everyone to death. Reading. When I read, I feel like I'm taken to another world. Doing Facials/Makeovers I find it oddly relaxing to give myself a full facial. Writing. I write all the time. Whether it's fan fiction or a story I've made up off the top of my head, I always write down every idea. I keep my notebook with me for any random inspirations that pop up. Music. I'm a huge fan of cranking the music loud and singing at the top of my lungs. ETA: The word "Pudding". It just makes me laugh! It's a game with my friends and family to say pudding and see how long I laugh about it. And they'll just keep saying it, so I just keep laughing. And I have one of those weird, unique laughs, which makes other people laugh, because it's so ridiculous, and other people laughing makes me laugh, so it's like one huge laugh war.

This is a really good idea! My son: he is just so much fun! He is a little older now & we can hang out play in the dirt or do something artistic! My family: I am blessed with an awesome family! Each one of them have helped mold me into who I am today. My best friends: I have just 3 of them that I consider my best friends, they are great, funny, compassionate women! Couldn't be without these truly beautiful women Last but not least a really good episode of Cold Case!!!

I have to add: Running. I love running the track at my school, it lets me just forget everything and listen to music.

Dance. When I dance I feel like there is no one in the world but me in that moment, it's a way for me to express my feeling and emotions to music.
Yoga. Helps me relax after a long rehearsal and it helps stretch out those muscles!
Friends. I wouldn't be anywhere without my friends, they are what make me get out of bed in the morning. And to see them and myself grow up since grade 2 is amazing. We have all changed so much!
Performing. When I am performing on stage I feel right, like this is where I belong. My music is how I express myself, and no one can take that away.
Running. Running isn't just for me to stay in shape but to release any stress I feel. The more stressed I am the harder I push myself, although that can be a bad thing, when I get home and my legs feel like jelly, I personally feel so much better!
Reading. God when I have time to read it's to wind down from a busy day, or during the winter I will sit on my little nook by my window and watch the snow fall.
Writing. Writing again helps me express well me!
Family. My family is sooo supportive, they are behind everything I do. (well almost everything) I wouldn't have the guts to do what I'm doing without them.

Some more stuff. Harry Potter: Enough said. It's just... amazing. And so deep. My kitty: She's so cute.... My sister: I realize this fits into the family category, but she's just such a little trooper. She has a learning disability, NF 1(Neurofibromatosis 1) and she's one of the strongest people I know. She's super naiive because of the ADHD that comes as a side effect of the NF. But she's super funny and she's just a sweetheart. I love her to death.

Sports - This includes Lacrosse, Running, Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, and Tennis. The only sport I play for the school is Lacrosse. The rest I do as "hobbies" on my free-time. I love sports. It's a way to relieve stress during the week and a great way to get together a bunch of friends or for running, an amazing way to raise money for some charities in those 5/10ks. My Brother - He's always been supportive of me and my dreams. I realize how much he has to sacrifice for me to be able to go to school in NYC, where he lives, because my parents don't trust me to find roommates, split apartment rent money, and work while learning. I can't exactly put my family since we're highly dysfunctional. My Parents - Even though we don't really have a relationship....or at least a talking one and we don't get along so well, I realize the sacrifices they had to make for me and my brother too. I know how hard they work just to save all their pennies towards our education because they want a better life for us: the American dream. We may come from two different cultures and they may not like the major I'm going in for, but I understand them plenty than they know I do. I just want to be happy with my life finally...and if working in the tv/movie industry as a video-editor or creative director is my passion, then I want to do that. If I happen to make alot of money, then so be it. But if I don't, at least I'll finally be happy and won't hate getting up from bed every morning to go to "work." My boyfriend and his family - Even though we've only been together for 2 months so far, which is a relative short amount of time, I have a feeling that he's finally the one. We just fit so well together. Separately, we're a little socially awkward(shy) , but when we're together, we're chatterboxes lol. We're not like other couples. We don't do the whole kissing or making out thing like every 5 seconds. It's real love. We actually know each other very well and I've come to know his family over these two months. I love his one big happy Italian family to death ;D. It's like the family that I never had and I feel so comfortable talking to his dad, mom, bro, cousins, and grandparents. His grandparents are so cute btw My friends - or what's left remaining from my high school group.... but the people I'm still friends with are funny as hell and great people who are like my own "fans." They'll cheer for you as loud as they can from the stands when you're playing in the game lol and they're always helpful and supportive of you. This has sort of been a sore subject for a few weeks now since I just lost like my best friend since 2nd grade....it seems that we've grown very far apart during our last year of high school and without being friends with her, I lost like two other friends in the making, who are still close friends with her. I got cut out from the group and now I don't seem to particularly identify with one group of high school friends....it's just a mix of jocks and geeks now. Music - Ahh, sometimes I just wish I could go back to the 60s, 70s, and 80s for some great rock n' roll. But then again, we have bands like Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, and Muse now amongst the mix of that crappy rap/hip hop music. And let's not forget, Lady Gaga in pop ;D. She's probably the only pop music I like. I'm more into rock. I love music. It just takes you to a different place that's better than your own situation when you're in a crappy mess. Music is like your best friend. It's always there for you. TV/Movies - You can always learn a great deal of life lessons from tv/movies. Plus, this has been an area I've always been fascinated with for some reason. I mean fascinated beyond your average joe who just watches tv/movies. I'm so fascinated by it that I'll talk about the writing, the cast, the editing, the directing, and wonder how they accomplish some of the effects, etc. I go could on and on talking in-depth about a tv show or a movie to friends. I would someday like to work in this industry as a video editor or perhaps a creative director if I go into sports broadcasting, which is what I would like to do with my editing. How amazing would it be to have sports on my mind, every day of my life? ;D And that's my work My Lacrosse coach - Forget the guidance counselor, she has helped me through a lot of things in my life this year and injury, which sucked because it was my last year to play for the school. She's an all around terrific person....when she's not making us puke after doing like 5 graham crackers sprints/run across the entire football field . Since a football field is a square, you jog, jog, jog, sprint on the first lap. Second lap is: jog, jog, sprint, sprint. Third lap is: jog, sprint, sprint, spring. Fourth lap is: sprint, sprint, sprint, sprint. It's complete torture...and that's only 1 full graham cracker run . Vidding/Writing - All really good forms of expression for me. I put a lot of myself in the stories I tell through vidding or writing. After all, most writers write fiction from personal experience . We just exaggerate it when we write about that experience . I really want to get two tv show ideas out there some day. One of them is a comedy that I could pair up with my Lax coach's sister who also works in the tv/movie industry as a comedy writer . How cool is that? She's like best friends with Jon Stewart...who made fun of Gettysburg College, and my Lax coach is an alum from there ;D. The other idea would be mainly something for ABC Family.

Justyna --- It's like she came into my life right when I needed her. She's funny, a little crazy sometimes, and absolutely lovely Would do anything for me, send me heaps of stuff in the mail, Kathryn stuff, music, clothes. Basically anything! She's just perfect! Lana --- Closest friend. Friends from since I can remember. I can remember when I first met her and I thought she was the girliest girl I ever met...She still is, but she's hilarious Can tell her anything and...I just love her! Kathryn Morris --- I don't know why....Just because I adored her since I saw her on TV. Facebook --- You can do anything, everything, and nobody can judge you. I've found so many old friends from there, it's the best search system AFL --- The BEST sport to hit this world! It's Australian, which makes it great, interesting, and definitely the only thing that gets me going. Essendon The best team in the game, and I never miss a match!

Stuff to add. Family: I know I've already said family, but now that my cousin's had her baby, I feel the need to say something about each and every side. Dad's Side: My personal favorite side. Our huge loud Italian family never ceases to amaze me. We have family everywhere, mostly here in Illinois, then we have some in Iowa, some in Texas, hell, even some back in Italy. And, I'll admit, the ones that live in other states, we don't get to see as much. But when we do see each other, no matter how long it's been, nothing's changed. We can still talk as if we had just seen each other yesterday. And that's what family's about. Mom's Side: Well.... there's only like 2 people on my mom's side, her brother, and her mom. But I'm not sure if I should count her mom's fiancee... But it will be way bigger once they get married, and her fiancee's family comes in as like a little honorary family. Step Grandma's Side: Even though they're not blood family, I love them to death and I couldn't live without them. I love everyone's craziness. The Ropes: Who wouldn't be happy when they're in the middle of the woods, in a completely peaceful environment, swinging on a rope across a gorgeous flowing creek with a huge sunbeam flowing through the trees? It's paradise. I'm surprised I didn't have this in my original post----> CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *start playing "Chelsea Dagger" by The Fratellis* I am in LOVE with my city!!!! It doesn't matter where I travel in the world, there will never be a place I love more than Chicago. I know this city like the back of my own hand, probably better. I can't WAIT till I graduate and go to DePaul!!!! And live in University Row... with a dorm with a gorgeous view of South State Street. Ahhh, my paradise.

The adult male feral cat that was trapped earlier this week and fixed and brought back and released and ran away showed up at my feeding place at noon today. I was so happy because I was so sad and thought he may have run away.

More: Studying: I am a huge book worm. I'm like Hermione. I will spend a whole day in our library, with books stacked up on the desk that I just read. It doesn't matter what subject. I'll just read and expand my knowledge. I will literally study about anything. The 90's For sure my favorite decade. It gave me my childhood, my favorte singer (Britney), my favorite band (Dave Matthews Band), and so many good times. Too bad it was only 6 years of my life.

DMB - awesome Train - Hey, Soul Sister.....definitely way too overplayed. It was cute, but then it got overplayed on the radio here. So now I just hate it after listening to it constantly while working at Carvel. Train - never heard of that song. Beyonce - Haha yeah....but "Glee" definitely made me love this song even more. TEB - Yeah...enough said The Fratellis - old song, but will probably be a classic that I'll listen to even when I'm in like my 40s. Hansen - Never heard of that band.

Things that make me happy the Godhead - Self explanatory Music - Both listening to music, and the thrill of bargain hunting for that CD. Still remember the time that I found Solefald's 'The Linear Scaffold' for a quarter or a dollar. Also remember the time that purchased like 10 cds for less than $40. I just love that! Roleplaying - Especially when I make a character that people really like, gives me a fuzzy feeling deep down inside. Writing - When I get in the mood writing is something that also makes me happy. Umm, more to come later.

Why I didn't have this in my original post, I have no clue. Miracles: They happen. About 4 years ago, my Aunt was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. It is truly a miracle that she's walking around right now, with no cancer. When she was diagnosed, they basically prepared her for death. But she didn't die. She fought, and she won. It's still a mystery to doctors all around as to why she's alive. She's a fighter.
