snipped... Counted amongst those programs experiencing a ratings decline is the Jerry Bruckheimer series, ‘Cold Case.’ And, as some industry watchers are predicting, the CBS procedural drama could be calling it quits following Sunday’s back-to-back episodes, featuring the music of The Rolling Stones.see whole article here: fancast

It wouldn't be experiencing a decline if they hadn't put it on at 10 on Sunday, where they KNEW it would do poorly. Throw in the delays and the fact it was after a crappy show for much of the season...

I think if they do give it another season, they should move it to maybe Monday night or another day but Friday.
With all the delays, airing it during the Olympics and other events instead of postponing it like some other networks postponed other shows.
EDIT: For the record, I don't watch golf but did watch Phil win last week and Tiger fall in flames.
Today I paused my DVR during golf to see who would win it and the commercials. And just a few minutes ago the announcers did talk about the Sunday night line up and said 2 hour season finale of Cold Case.

If CBS cancels COLD CASE, they're going to loose me as a viewer... I don't watch anything on CBS but COLD CASE! I used to watch CSI, but got bored of it. (It's not realistic at all)
