A two part episode.... would have thought they would have saved this as the season finale... as it were, instead of shortly after mid-season..

"Bullet" - After determining the serial killer's identity - and some of his likely future targets - the team and the FBI work together to apprehend him while trying to locate and protect the people he's preparing to kill, on the conclusion of a two-part COLD CASE, Sunday, April 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. One has to wonder if his wife is in on Paul's killings. It shows her as quirky and confused on one hand but also disheartned and angry at her inablity to have kids and the $$$ it costs. While CC has had episodes where we know who the killer is right away, I have this strong suspicion there will be a twist.

I'm fairly sure she was. If you look at the casting for "Last Drive-In" it lists the actress who plays young Diane in this episode (Melissa Ordway) as playing a character only listed as "D". I'm assuming that's the girl in the car. If that's the case, then it is Diane, which would explain her obsession with this case. Also, the girl's behavior in the first scene seems consistent with older Diane's character.

I don't think the young woman in 1980 was a teenager. The boy was "on his way to college", and the woman seemed to be more experienced - with alcohol, fooling around. In other words, older. Diane Yates has a thing for younger men (and drinks). She could have been 21, 22? We don't know when exactly Stillman's marriage ended, but I would say it was later than 1980 (when, according to Glued, his daughter was born, but the writers bend the timeline like they want). |

The boy who was killed at the start of the episode Ryan... he was killed due to him being a jerk to Paul (as will be shown next week). Bil may have had his problems but at the very least... he wasn't a serial killer... I think
