Things I loved: - Kat/Lilly laughing and smiling so much. She has a gorgeous smile, it's a shame we dont see it more often. - The window smashing incident, though, to be honest, I'm sure Ryan would have been a little more annoyed if he was more sober. The case wasn't very interesting, and the filler in with the guys back at Philly was kinda akward. IT seemed that everyone [except Scotty and Will] had a pair in the episode. Whilst the format was different to it's usual set up, I did enjoy it immensely. However, I wouldn't want to see it as a permanent thing, just something every now and then. I rated it as good Not the best as in the most heart touching and emotional, but seeing Lilly smile really just made me smile too.

I think there is obviously an attempt to change the pace/format of the episode (like they are trying to kick it up a notch). While I thought it was interesting that they included every detective in the episode I'm not sure that its workable but I found it interesting. The case was pretty good and the motivation of the doer just didn't grab me like it has in earlier years of the series. Overall I gave it an excellent. Totally not interested in making a love connection for Lilly. When they got to Woodstock and it began to rain making it some kind of romantic sappy interlude that was really a bit over the top for me. I did like the Stillman/Yates scenes, Kat and DA especially the elevator scene and it's nice to know Vera may be back with his love - just the therapy he needs.

I thought it was okay. Didn't care for the Woodstock part but liked the parts where Vera helps his ex girlfriend, Stillman/Yates, and Miller/Bell part.
Can a Philadelphia police Lieutenant take over that same position in New York as there will be an opening in New York's 27th precinct? [cough]
I guess Yates' mom has taken a turn for the worse?
I can tell there was something still there between Yates/Stillman and Easton/Vera.

I've been racking my brain... isn't this the first CC to actually have 2 different story flashbacks in one episode? Woodstock flashback and Vera's case fb. I can't think of any other CC that has done this.

Just thought of something...
Was it ever said if Megan was married when she appeared in 'Ravaged'?

IMHO: The worse episode ever made. This hurts me a lot because you all know I LOVE 60's cases but I just truly hated this one. Total disaster. Everything but the music was a complete disaster. The Lilly/Ryan thing was not a disaster but was just OK. I had a little accident yesterday and I'm having some pain and can't type too much. I'll try to post tomorrow all the reasons why I consider this the worse cold case episode ever I hope you get better soon eduardo! I'd really like to hear why you disliked the episode so much.

I'm sorry to say that I hated this episode. Usually after an episode I would want to rewatch it but for this one I don't really want to. I don't know if it is because I'm not really into the 60's and Woodstock or just because Lilly wasn't with the rest of the team. I don't really quite understand why someone would force another person go through war when they don't want to. I mean a lot of people think that Vietnam was a useless war but to people who served it was an honor. Also I don't understand is Lilly still with Eddie or not. When she was talking to Yates she told her that "she was seeing someone" and then she tells Cavanough that she is seeing a narcotics cop.

I mean a lot of people think that Vietnam was a useless war but to people who served it was an honor. Because Al wanted to serve but was injured before he could be deployed and therefore wasn't able to see active duty. David was a vet and was fleeing to Canada to avoid going back because he didn't want to live with those memories anymore. Al thought it was a soldier's duty to serve when called, whereas David said that he fulfilled his obligation and wanted no more.

Before anyone jumps in and says this is the Worst Show Ever (even though you're opinion is your own) I might point out that this season has made strives to distinguish itself. I think in an effort to get an 8th season. Regardless...it was still a snoozer. It was worse even than "Two Weddings"

I loved this episode. It wasn't the most exciting case it but it was still moving. This opened so much more about all the side stories which makes me think there has to be a renewal! and oh my gosh LILY LAUGHED. It was a genuine laugh. she hasn't been this happy for a long time....maybe even before eddie. She wasn't cheating because as she told yates their relationship was over. They are so cute together. I loved the scene at the car and the field and i really hope it works out. I'm also glad veras back on track. Oh and She didn't take the application! she put it down!!!! the team stays together (all the drama in the spoilers thread was for nothing)

I liked this episode a lot, which is why I thought it was excellent. Not a season's best or best episode ever, but just excellent because my opinion is a bit bias. I have been watching these past few episodes over and over again. Hmmm.....*goes and drools at the hot FBI agent.* I love Johnny Messner since he starred in a short-lived series, "Killer Instinct," as Detective Jack Hale before it got cancelled by FOX ;D. He cleans up nice as a g-man . "Cold Case" usually makes you care about the cases and the people involved in them, but this episode wasn't the case for me. I was more interested in the detectives' personal lives than the case this week. There were some nice moments between Lilly/Ryan, Curtis/Kat, and Megan/Nick. I also liked the storyline continuation with Scotty this season about his mom's rapist. -I like the way that Ryan is staring at Lilly when he first says, "Detective." -Haha Lilly, "But I don't really like you." = spells love backwards -Job offer! Interesting.... -Lmao @ Curtis. I love him. He's like the comic relief for the show and does socialize more with the detectives than the other DAs, probably because his dad was a cop. : "Asked for an americano and got a machiatto with two pumps of vanilla, I do detect some nutmeg. -Kat and her sarcasm . Scotty: "He's a decent guy, good job, chemistry. I can see why you'd throw that away. Kat: "He's all yours." -I'm still wondering why Kat and Curtis broke up. -Nick doing crossword puzzles was a bit comical. Haha of course, Det. Vera doesn't like reading -I love how Ryan is impressed with Lilly's knowledge on cars when she says, "Ford Galaxy." -Falling in love while it's raining = cliché -.-. Lilly's love life has got enough clichés..... -Oh the hurt that John must feel. A man of few words like Gibbs, but yet oh how the silence can speak. Yates: I don't know what's left for me in Philly. -Bar scene. I love Johnny Messner's eyes....just like Stillman's, they speak a lot of words. -Damn! Lilly is drinking ALOT. She's a girl that can hold down her drinks...2 or 3 beers at least?? Most girls can't drink past a bottle of beer. -Lilly broke the car's window to get his keys. Awww now they're getting all hot and heavy with each other. Gosh, Johnny Messner....I need a hot shower just thinking about him -The ending montage is just too cute when ryan holds up the car keys to Lilly and she laughs. It makes me happy to see Lilly happy again - I agree with everyone else about the cinematography. It was wonderful how the storyline was left open-ended in case the show ends or not. We don't know if Lilly ever picked up that special agent application and put it inside her bag or not.

I'm still a bit in pain and can't type too much.
The good things: Music. That's it.
I'm a fan of 60's cases but this was an insult.
First: Too much personal issues. Ryan/Lilly, Yate's mom, Vera/Megan/Megan's husband, Scotty and Kat/Bell... I mean, is this Cold Case or The Young and the Restless? Especially the Megan thing... really from a soap opera. Also, what happened to the actress? She looks really old. The burglary thing was really really stupid.
Second: The case. OMG! I thought I'd never watch something like this on Cold Case. There are some episodes that I have not liked like "Soul", "Jurisprudence", "Breaking news" and "8 years". You all know I didn't like season 6 finale with all being a dream but this was too much.
-A case was opened just because. There was no new leads. NOTHING. Not even a fake witness nothing! The only time this happened before was in "Glued" and I think "Strange Fruit" (I don't remember this last one correctly) but at least those episodes had a lot of emotional things. This one NOT.
-Only 3 suspects? That was insulting. Something I have always liked is that we almost always get a decent amount of suspects. Now you get 3 and it was obvious it wasn't Daisy/Anabelle.
-Recycling. I felt this episode was a mix between "Volunteers", "War at home", "Revolution", "Late Returns". Again the hippie is a life coach? Again the informant? again the Canada thing? Again a congressman (in this case woman) with a secret? I'm against war but again the anti-war thing? We all know war is a traumatic experience for soldiers. And again the thing? I thought David was gonna say one he had killed a little girl at war (like the war at home) or killed innocent people the same way the doer said in "Revoltuion" And many other things made me felt I was seeing a mix between too many episodes.
-Case was boring. For these reasons about recycling, too much personal issues. I could never get into that. I knew it'd be the farmer because it'd been too much if it was the hippie leader.
Even with the mentioned episodes before There was something interesting: A journalist looking for truth (Breaking news), a sympathetic doer who killed his best friend's killer (8 Years), Family reunion (Soul), A girl that knows her mother always cared about her (The dealer), complicated family relationships (Thick as thieves)... even in the worse episode I could find something good. Something special. For the first time I'd like a Cold Case episode to be lost and never found again. I hope they never repeat this one. It was too much: personal storylines outweighted the case, recyled plots... No way! I will try to forget this episode ever existed.

She definitely wasn't shown putting it in her bag, but I don't think it was shown specifically being left on the desk either, right? She may very well have transferred it to her other hand to shut down the computer. I think an ambiguity as to whether she took it or not would work in CC's favor, whether they get an 8th season or not.

After thinking about the episode a bit I'm going to have to retract my vote of 'Excellent' and change it to 'OK'. The truth of the matter is that this episode didn't grab me. Usually I'll put my laptop down when the show comes on, so I can focus on it, but this time I couldn't do it.
I'm not upset at the prospect of Lilly working with the FBI, so I wasn't bitter about an assumption. I guess what made this episode so "meh" to me was that I couldn't get close to the characters from the main case. There was too much going on with Lilly/Ryan; the main case; and the break in. To me this episode suffered from "Cram a bunch of crud in" syndrome.
In my opinion, what they should have done was scrap the break in plot. They could have focused a lot more on the main case, and bits here and there with Scotty dealing with his mom's attacker, Kat and Bell, and Stillman and Yates.
Honestly, the only reason I didn't vote "Hated it" is because I found the scenes between Lilly and Ryan to be pretty hot.

I voted OK. I thought there were too many stories going on, and the case was kind of an afterthought. I also thought the Lilly/Ryan thing seemed totally contrived and unbelievable. It was like the writers just thought Lilly needed a new fling and just threw it in there with no real thought behind it. The case could have been interesting, and I loved the opening scene, but it just sort of went nowhere and had a tacked-on ending because the writers seemed more interested in all the other stories than the case itself. I didn't exactly hate it, but this was probably my least favorite episode of the season.

Hey boys and girls! Hello there! Well, I gave this episode an Excellent! I thought it was that! Missed Jeffries though. But I love Woodstock - the music, the festival, the people. Such a great time! And the music rocked too! It was interesting to see Lilly and Agent Yates at the beginning - you can tell that those girls really have a bond together. And to see Lilly on the federal level solve a Cold Case was really interesting! And the way that she and Cavanaugh modeled the guy and the girl at Woodstock was great too! I think Lilly really likes him! I hope they did not drive the night of their kiss too! Ha! And the killer was a surprise to me. I thought for sure the congresswoman would be in on it in some way, shape or form. But she loved him. I just wonder how this will pan out as the season ends - it will be very, very interesting to watch I am certain! Oh Scotty, he still might blow his top about that creep who attacked and raped his mom. I hope the dude gets put away for a while, because we all know what can happen when Scotty gets mad. ADA Bell and Kat were cute too - him helping her open that lid, and Kat talking about letting her daughter's dad see her - they might be getting back together again soon (I don't remember their breakup though - ha!). Poor Agent Yates too - with her mom dying. I felt sad for her. You can tell that Stillman wants to be there for her to comfort her though. I think he likes her a lot too - it would be cool if they ended up together. And my favorite of the night though! Megan Easton! Wow, I did not expect to see her! She looks pretty, just as she did 5 years ago. I really like her long hair and her eyes. I was happy to see Vera stick it to her cheating husband - I hope that Nick and Megan end up together. I remember last time, but Vera was married then, and he needs a good girl to help him out! Plus I'm sure that she could have a baby too! Maybe everything that Vera needs, you know? I really liked so many things about this episode and am looking forward to the rest of the season!
