Thanks irishkale, it was good seeing them together so spot every new change!! I liked the new cast pictures and am glad they left most of it the way it always was.

I like the new pictures too Sonny, and like you said I'm glad they kept most of it the same.
You know, I think something happened with my station when they aired this, because on my tape of the episode, I don't have the same thing! I'm missing half of it!

I like the new intro. So it looks like they cut two Lilly pics and replaced with another Scotty and the gang. I don't like the pale Liily from this season, though.

Thanks Irishkale for the clips!
I like em' both! But, I wasn't too surprised about it... I had a gut feeling they were going to change the intro. It usually happens with most series that have aired a few seasons. Well, at least they didn't change the song...
Thanks so much irishkale. I might be in the minority here but I really liked the new intro. There may be less Lilly but it's really well done. I'm satisfied with it.

Say, maybe iriskale can make a new intro of his own! Now wouldn't that be neat? ;D

Thanks irishkale!! I can' t decide which one I like better... I think i like how in the old one, it's darker and everything seems to match a bit more, but i like some of the new pictures better...They took out some of my fav pics too!

Now that sounds like a challenge!
I'd love to see some of our resident videomakers REMIX the title sequence.
So although, I have no authority to do this, I'm issuing a challenge to remake the title sequence!!!
Here's the Rules:
1) it can only be 30 seconds long. The original title sequence is only 30 seconds, so you can't go over!
2) you can use any cold case scenes you want, either video or still images, or a combination.
3) you can either have titles/words or not. It's not going to be a requirement.
4) you can have any combination of characters in the sequence, it can be regulars or guest characters, villians, etc.
5) Kathryn/Lilly must appear at least Once.
6) You MUST have "created by Meredith Stiehm" at the end. You can either use the current video from the real trailer, or you can use an image or video with a title created in Moviemaker that says "created by...".
7) You can use any music you want, or you can use the original title sequence music. You can even use OTHER TV theme songs.
8)if you use another TV theme song, you CAN go over the 30 second limit if you wish to use the song in it's entirety. But that is the only case where you are allowed to go over.
9) You can use any program or combination of programs to create it.
10) Deadline is December 31, 2005.

Dang I was just listening to some music and the thought popped into my head -- what if they remixed the opening new every week? They'd use a song from the same time period as the songs in the episode. But they would use different footage and different design "looks" for the opening that changed each show. Sorta like how they had those wacky ending titles for the Rocky Horror episode "Creature of the Night."

I can't wait to see the title sequences!!! With all the talent on this board, this should be some awesome stuff! :smile14: Great idea Naj and irishkale!!
Gina: Just dropping in to say hi to anyone checking the site out! I have so many fond memories of this forum. I hope you all are well!
