Episode 13 will be called Bombers. I wonder if it refers to military or sports?

Bombers is the name of my city's football team (Winnipeg Blue Bombers, to be exact). Unfortunately they tend to live up to their name all too well.

Apprently it will be about a group of graffiti artists. Not my kind of thing... but who knows, maybe it will be good.

Group of graffiti artists, eh? Maybe late 70s/early 80s? Some of the hip-hop that came out of that period is really good - we might finally get to hear The Message!

It could even be the 90s or 00s.
If this is another 'Young people from the bad part of Philly, bla bla bla, one gets killed, bla bla bla, they had it very hard, bla bla, and this is all set to hip-hop'...the storyline had better be good.
Sorry, I'm just getting tired of all these 'ghetto based/hip hop episodes'

I was right about it being the early 80s AND The Message came out in 1982. Woo-hoo.

As with a number of the episodes this season, the main case looks kinda so-so, but the subplots are really intruiging. Jarrod Jones back? With a new wife? Custody issues with Kat? Will Curtis Bell be her rock through all this?

You knew he'd be back. And other than being an ex-con, Jarrod really doesn't have issues Kat could use to prevent him from seeing his daughter.

Hmmmm, this makes me wonder if this isn't connected to Scotty's mom somehow. Could she be the victim of some serial rapist that targets older Hispanic women? While the account of her night that Scotty's dad gave in this past week's episode was rather vague, it wouldn't be inconsistent. If this is indeed the case, given the similarities to the story arc in season four about Scotty's older brother Mike having been sexually molested, it'll be utterly ridiculous if that never comes up. I'd go so far as to say I hope Mike Valens makes a return, even a brief one, perhaps to relate to what happened. Of course that may be a long shot, since Nestor Carbonell will be a series regular on "Lost" this season. Actually it would be a rather ironic reversal, since the reason Richard Alpert was so scarce in the fourth season was because Carbonell was a series regular on the short-lived CBS series "Cane" at the time and CBS wasn't willing to share him. (I hope ABC is bigger than that). Guess we'll have to wait a few weeks or months to see if I'm right.

It's almost funny that you mention this, because I was talking to my mom about last night's episode, and the conversation went to Scotty's mom. My mom goes, "she comes home, takes a shower, and goes to bed. Now what does that tell you?"
At first I was like, "Umm...Scotty's father is abusing her?"
she goes, "no, I think she was raped." she then pointed out the self defense classes she was taking now; something I'd forgotten about.

Something happened to her. Maybe not a rape, but an attempted one or some other kind of attack. Something she's ashamed to admit.
