Also happens to be the name of a popular children's book. I wonder if that has something to do with the episode?
Bunny is also slang for a highly sexual attractive female; so maybe the episode is about a runaway young woman who becomes a prostitute?
*shrugs*

The children's book was written in 1942... But who knows what it's about yet...

This is a 1974 case and the victim is a cool and macho private detective named Harry Delp. The whole episode looks very Chinatown to me. (By Chinatown I mean the 70s movie starring Jack Nicholson.)

This only makes the name choice more weird Am I the only one that pictures Clint Eastwood as the victim? ;D

Look like quite a familiar actors among the guest cast, according to tv.com. Plus it looks like Moe's back in this one. (Yay! More creepy Moe scenes!)

Harry Denton is such a great sounding name for a private investigator, isn't it?

Noticed the one person besides the PI is only listed in 74... I wonder if she was murdered at well? I'm also hoping the doer in this episode will be a female... I've made a bet with someone that there will be six or female doers this season of Cold Case, only behind Season 4 in the number.

It may be that the character died between 1974 and the current time, not necessarily that she was murdered. We've seen that several times on the show, even this season as well. In "Soul", Billy's girlfriend and the mother of his son died before the episode was set, so there was no present-day casting for her character.

Very true on that note..one of the suspects in "Hoodrats", the mother's bf died of a drug overdose before the present day case.
