I might enter one as well, but since I don't have Photoshop, it's hard for me to do them.

Ever heard of GIMP? It's a lot like PhotoShop, but it's 100% free, and legal.

I have heard of it and I have a photo editing program on my computer already, it's just not Photoshop. I'll probably make a couple this weekend.

I have GIMP and it doesnt work at all. I cant find anything that would help you blend things together like Photoshop.

I have GIMP and it doesnt work at all. I cant find anything that would help you blend things together like Photoshop. I always use GIMP, and it works just fine. If you want to blend images with GIMP you need to do it with layer masks. (But if you're looking for something like that lasso tool that helps you cut out objects from their surroundings with one click, then you're out of luck, that's true.) Don't know yet if I will make a banner, I don't have an idea for it. It's hard to think of spring when it's snowing outside.

Ive used the layer adding, thats what I used for my sig I have now, but I had to smudge the background to make it remotely any good. Yeah Im guessing I need the lasso tool, anyone know of any program other than Photoshop with that?

I use PaintShop Photo Pro X2; about as good as Photoshop in my opinion.
